I have had this knife since June of 19, have only stropped it from time to time on 2.5 micron diamond paste. Stays shaving sharp.

NICK! MR. SHABBAAAAZZZ! THANK YOU! Thank you immensely for expressing that washers are the better pick for a knife that's going to be exposed to hard use or harsh environments! Way too many people don't understand this concept (or the reasons why). You're doing the knife community a huge solid by speaking such truths

This is next on my list, but I was holding out for the flame anno version to come back in stock. WE does an excellent job with frame locks.

Just bought this exact malice on the secondary. I'm hypedddd

I’m in love with the ferrum/we knife collaboration. We knife takes these brilliant designs and adds these little ergonomic round-overs and knock-offs that add up to near perfection. The odium is one of my favorite knives ever for it’s insane ergonomics and its pocket nonexistence. This looks like a scaled up, high end version of the odium...which means I’ll probably be dropping $300 on one at some point. Superrrrr 😏

Nice work as always nick, have you tried any fallknivens? Can't ever see if you've reviewed any and your missing out they've got some great folders as well as fixed blades

If I hadn't found this channel I wouldn't have bought this knife in the flamed bronze titanium handle. I love this knife. Always entertaining and informative vids. Also, I have two terrible knives for Nick that even he may be surprised at, after all that he has seen.

Yep... a bushing style pivot with washers... IMHO still the best pivot system out there...

Yes, the MALICE could be BENEVOLENT for me - good one Nick - if it were a quarter inch longer and didn't have the expensive, unnecessary holes machined near the spine of the blade where it meets the frame. Thank you for the review Nick!

I’ll be very happy when the “speed holes” trend dies off. They make every blade look like a discarded prop design from a Riddick movie
@jshphysicistatyahoo4 жыл бұрын
I could not agree more. They have no function except to increase the price and (not noticeably) reduce the mass. Thank you for your comment.

I've lost interest in big heavy folders. TRM Atom is a current pocket occupant and has won me over for now. An energetic and frothy review Nick. Weird to hear praise on a brick blade from you! 👍

But remember when WE had OMG prices , they also had star shaped hardware ^^
@northernninety74 жыл бұрын
@David Martin Portmann Please don't make a backwards comment then we can all talk. WE has been improving over time. Yet you think the opposite. And if WE is going the Reate route like you say, then that means that I can expect some very nice knives. But I have a Reate knife and I don't see WE going to that level of fit and finish. Oh and the horrible price marks ups you have in your tiny country is only your problem.
@CNYKnifeNerd3 жыл бұрын
@Castle Bravo That's @David P's schtick. He's all over knife youtube, dropping his tightly coiled comments everywhere. Sometimes the pile is so impressive you can't help but stop and wonder whats wrong with someone for that to come out of them them, but ultimately all you can really do is shake your head and walk around it. You seem to have accidentally stepped right in it.

It looks like a well made knife indeed. Unfortunately, for me, it’s a little too “chonkey”. I have the archbishop pro, and the pro fortis, which is about the limit of chunky-ness for me. And to be honest, it doesn’t look as nice as the archbishop pro either. Now, if I was into overly beefy knives, it would be perfect.

I hear you talk about the angle of pocket clips alot... frankly, I'm pretty sure that is all in your head. just stick the thing in your pocket at whatever angle you want it. a 5 degree angle on a pocket clip doesn't change how it sits in your pocket. The only thing that changes how it sits in your pocket, is the shape of your pocket and the shape of the knife itself.

I don't understand this line from the video "Even with my taking conscious effort to thin out the edge" (in regards to the Halftrack). You were re-grinding the primary bevel???

I feel like someone could probably figure out where your house is, Nick, by triangulation off of ferrum forge. You never know with people on the interwebs....
