Doshin the Giant is a fascinating game.
Originally created as a launch title for the Nintendo 64DD, Doshin had a rough start after launching in Japan only. However, the game was given a second chance with an enhanced release on the GameCube. Despite this, it's still very much considered to be a cult classic, a hidden gem. its one of those games I know I'd probably never gonna played it, but highly grateful that it exists. It looks so original, unique, and I do enjoy people on YT messing around with it. Yeah, it deserves a port or remaster

This review has so much warmth to it. I personally don't have a game like this on my mind; its more of the overseen one. It's Puppeteer. I can talk a bunch about this one, but i won't, for now at least. Ok, now i remember: Braid.

@Fobb It's just the most relaxing and addictive game! I find myself coming back to it every summer! I think Chibi-Robo or Pikmin are the only games to come close, but even then, there's really nothing like Doshin!

@@dr.metroid6119 Agreed about Pikmin! Chibi-Robo is one I've wanted to try for a while, it's always intrigued me but I've never had a chance to play through it.

I wish this game came out in North America, because I definitely would've scooped it up and gave it a go. Although Doshin instills the questionable value of "Bigger Body, Better Person", he has excellent Smash Bros fighter potential, so I'd say he's all right in my book! 😂🎉

Doshin would be such a funny wildcard pick for Smash, now I wanna see him added in the next game 😂

I think he would be cool as a stage hazard on the island where he walks around changing up the levels of the ground higher or lower then gets bigger and he blocks either side of the stage like Alolan Exeggutor and eventually switches to his evil form and attacks players before going back to his base form and starting the loop again.
