As someone who has gotten assaulted, as well as having smaller boobs, hearing him talk and laugh about how “flat” she was, was really fucking disgusting. See here’s the thing- Earl could very well be sorry for accidentally touching someone like that. Accidents happen. If his account of the events are exactly how it happened, and he really didn’t know her age, then whatever. Like, we accidentally bump into people. You say sorry and you move on. But it’s the fact he doxxed the victim, degraded her body, lied about knowing her age, called it an “anime moment”, and threatened everyone around him with legal action. It makes it really hard to believe he’s sorry. Not to mention how he create an environment on Discord where minors and adults could talk sexually and stream porn. The fact he thinks the law is on his side with this genuinely makes Bowser the dumbest man in the planet. I can’t even imagine what it’s like to be the victim in this situation. I feel so bad for her that her groping is being devolved to an “anime moment” is really gross.

I worked at that movie theater for two years. And I heard about Earl almost immediately after getting hired in 2021. I knew he was a creep. And I got that job because of two of my best friends, who happen to be the girl who was assaulted and her sister. I had no idea this man was an internet lolcow until i was watching a video recapping a week in lolcow history. I was like “no way is this the same guy”. And sure enough I text my friends and it’s the same dude. I was absolutely horrified. And I can almost 100% guarantee you that none of the girls at that movie theater liked him and they were just too scared to say anything. I hope I never see this man in public.

It should be noted that even though 16 is the legal age of consent in places like Japan or the UK for example, it is still weird if a 30+ year old is the one asking for that consent, and is still ILLEGAL if you yourself are in a place where the age of consent is 18, because you are governed by your local laws, not the laws of another land where they are. If ever those kinds of thoughts cross your mind, save your excuses for a therapist, and stop them before you act upon them. A fictional outlet is always preferable to a living person, however it too is still creepy and weird.

Not saying he’s innocent, the caretakers cat can attest to that, but he definitely would’ve had chances at improvement had they left his ass alone.

I think the most bewildering thing about Earl at this point is that he sincerely thinks he has any degree of control over the situation and that he can salvage his image. He can’t. He thinks he can, but he can’t. The entire internet knows about him now. The best he can do is drop off the radar for a few years and hope that everyone just forgets about him. And that’s assuming he doesn’t end up the next Paul&Amy.

Hey Nick! Love the video. Just two things I noticed as someone who was watching this go down firsthand. 1. Liquid Ricky is not what his friend was named. He was named Ricky. Liquid Ricky was someone pretending to be Ricky ala Liquid Chris. 2. Emagine is pronounced like Imagine (a small nitpick) Overall I thought this was a pretty good coverage of the story

There's something tonally perfect about the eerie Phazon ambience from Metroid Prime being in the background of Earl's *apology video.* No music whatsoever; nothing upbeat, nothing even dour, nothing to lessen the blow that you're hearing those words out of a known child predator. Just a cold, unsettling chill. The sound of inexplicable looming terror and he did it all unintentionally... how fitting.

There is only a few "Mental Hospitals" in the Bowser Area. My brother was a horrible addict, and when he was using he became suicidal. He's clean now thank goodness, but yeah, he was shipped to the only two in that part of Michigan. There is one in Auburn Hills and one in Port Huron.
