With cases like this, the charge of elderly abuse needs to have social services of some kind also be apart of the case, so the victims have an outside party addressing the issues. We all kno that sometimes the hold one can have over the elderly, is not going to end well. So they need to have someone there ((other than a lawyer)) to really dig in and get the situation dealt with. I kno a lady that used to physically and mentally abuse her elderly parents. They always had some sort of bruises or marks. And they alway let her come back home, sometimes even bailing her out. Her parents became so afraid of her over the years and were so manipulated that there were some cases where she was more of a threat to them when they didn't let her back in the house. ((she tried setting their house of fire cuz they refused to let her back in)) Then just a few years back, her father "fell" down some stairs and ended up getting some sort of blood infection from where his hip was busted open from that fall. We all knew he didn't fall.....she pushed him cuz he wouldn't go buy her alcohol. She had been banned from all the liquor stores in town. Not long later her mother died as well, and unfortunately, we all knew that was for the better for both her parents.

This is like the cat videos where they put cameras on them when they go out into the world to see what sort of troubke they get up to.
