This 11 Minutes hit me hard, my mom died a few weeks ago. And my dad is so so lost. My sister and me try to be there for him but the grief is overwhelming. How can you save a broken soul. Yesterday was wedding day, first one without mom after 52 years together. This film was beautiful, very touching but also sad. It has made impact without many words, that is real storytelling.

A glorious bit of storytelling. Some think stuffing a film full of words will make it better. Your cast (including Mr.Brodie & young Ebrahim) were excellent at communication with expression and movement. Congratulations on this film.

I didn’t get it until I read the transcript. Listening to it at night with the volume down on my phone I didn’t hear everything he and his wife were saying after he proposed. I was able to put 2 & 2 together after I saw the newspaper article and read where she told him she took a leaf from the tree thinking it might bring them luck. So the poor old boy was depressed over the loss of his wife, then he sees the article about the cursed tree. And finally he remembers what his wife said to him at one point before she dies. I’m with the commenter from Scotland. It was bloody depressing! But well acted.

🏆Paul Brodie's Oscar worthy and little🎭Ebrahim Joof's on his👏🏻way. I came here from the great KZfaq channel #WellINever and Well, I Never can say I regret it because it was well worth it. Mr. Brodie's character never says a word, his acting abilities/actions💔speaks📣volumes. 💐Congratulations to all🎬involved in this💔heart-wrenching📘story about real life and wishful💭thinking.

What a brilliant film, be careful what you wish for and so sad that death would have reunited him with his wife and everyone else got what they didn’t want. Very clever film ,so much in it to ponder over

Odd 🤔 : I expected the end almost from the outset. Reminded me of Dame Edith Evans' masterful performance in the classic long film, "The Whisperers". Both profoundly moving "Greek tragedies."

Whoever wished for anything else but life itself, found death. The old man, Arthur, gave up his wish to someone else, he so to say sacrificed it. And he received life. Everlasting and unbreakable spiritual law.

I learned from it. If you ever have the chance for a wish come true never give it away. Even if you think you are too old to wish. You are never to old to wish. The tree has fullfilled them all my greatest wish i have since decades. If i should have a wish free i wish it and don´t give it to anyone. It is priceless .

Great job on all fronts, y'all should be very proud of your efforts. 👏 Bravo! With that said, i'm sorry, but i didn't like it for 2 reasons. 1, i can't do sad just now, so didn't like that part. & 2, We didn't get to hear Mr Brodie's great voice. 😢 He did a great job without it, but i missed his voice. (BTW, not really serious about not liking 😄)
