Back in 2007, I read all the books, then continue playing The Witcher (2007). In 2011, I continue with The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (2011) , and finally playing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt as soon as it released in 2015. Finished the third game in 2016 with the Expansion Pack. In 2017, watching this Anniversary trailer, I'm at peace. After a decade, I can finally rest.

I'll never forget the first time Geralt 4th walled me after sitting down with Regis to reflect on the journey and then when CD Project did this. The Witcher 3 is the best and most personal and memorable gaming experience I've ever had to this day. I was so invested man... I've put around 1000 hours into it (if there's anything I havn't done yet in the game then no one has), nothing else on console even comes halfway close to it. The only game that beats it is CS:GO where I have almost 3000 hours of playtime. But of course you can't compare fantasy RPG with competitive FPS. Just saying I've put more hours into a game, but the hours in TW3 there's just so much more content, emotions and experiences behind than anything else I've played. And if someone and something is looking to top it it's most likely going to be CD Project Red again with Cyberpunk 2077.

The female in the blue you only see from behind is Vex...one of Roche's Temerian Blue Stripes special forces from the 2nd Witcher game. You see Shani in the back corner who was in the first Witcher game and played a major part in Hearts of Stone DLC. Interestingly she's standing beside Olgierd who was the second most important character in that DLC. It ends with Olgierd starting a new life after losing his immortality. And Shani tells Geralt that they can't be together (in spite of having a fairly deep romantic relationship.) She pretty much tells Geralt he's going to live forever (unless some monster kills him; he's 96 years old in these games) while she's just a human and will grow old. The Witcher lore give Shani's life. In the first game she's a medical student. In Hearts of Stone she's a full doctor and combat medic. In the history given, it explains she lives to her 90's, becomes a professor of medicine at Oxenfurt University, is credited with coming up with the cure for the major plague. Like I said, she's standing beside Olgierd...who was making himself a new life...and Shani has put Geralt behind her, essentially starting a new life too. Interesting that two major characters from the 2nd DLC are side by side. No absolute evidence but maybe they start their new lives together. Who knows.
