Okay. Currently NBA players make about 7 percent of the revenue while WNBA makes around 30 percent (I can't remember exact numbers on this). So the WNBA wants to be brought down to 7 percent? NBA makes massive amounts of money while WNBA doesn't. The last thing they want to do is start talking about percentages because that is a loss even at 100% when compared to the NBA.

@@davidkeen4972 not necessarily. If I have my own business and I have $1,000 coming in but my expense for that job was $1,000. I still had revenue but no profit. I’m not sure if the NBA does it this way, but here in Canada if a business overall has an expense for doing a job, but doesn’t make that money back on that job, it can be written off as bad debt and it helps you pay less taxes. Works for small companies anyway.

There are some equity cases in life, like supply wheel chair access. The same goes for female sport. Women don't watch sports, and men watch women sports much less. The sheer amount of money sports generates means its fair to subsidize the lady's so they can also have sports opportunities. They shouldn't be complaining, though.

The counter argument to that is, you need to spend “billions” of dollars more to market us and put us in prime time slot tnt, espn, and give us a fair shot.

I would love to see that. People might joke about them not being in the same league as the guys, but they do play and they compete. I WANT them to make decent money for their work. I really wish the people yelling for them to be paid at parity would GI TO THEIR GAMES. Buy season tickets. Buy merch. Bet on the games. Flock to sports bars and spend money on alcohol while watching the game so it becomes a solid avenue for commercial sponsorship rather than commercial charity. I don't necessarily want to watch it though.
