You're absolutely right! I'm naturally detatched, unbothered but dedicated & loyal only to those who've earned my trust with consistency over time. I've got my life together & I only entertain quality people on 'my' time. I don't play games, I'm direct & I don't need anyone. So everything I get feels like a bonus. Somehow that's attractive & people can't get enough. Can't even get some alone time without making excuses lol. And I too despise going out when it's raining except if it's work/emergency. It messes up my hair, makeup & clothes.😅 I like to feel confident at all times! 😁

I have been learing about dating and relationships for YEARS. I am now 46 - I just feel there is so much information, too many "rules" - I feel its best to just de-center men, stay in my own lane, and the right person will make himself KNOWN to ME. Not that I am going to "hide" or not acknowledge men, but I am just tired of feeling like I am trying too hard, or analyzing nearly everything a man does to gague interest. It's exhausting. I'll just spend my extra energy focusing on myself, my selfcare, my child, my own life and whatever happens - happens. I have done "all the things" and "followed rules" of all sorts of dating experts and the truth is it DOESN'T matter. If a man doesn't find you appealing or good looking or they clearly aren't showing interest - you can't make someone like you. I'm not "giving up" just re-directing my attention on building my business because it's the ONLY way I feel valued, yes, even back to a man I may end up meeting later.

You are SO right! Your point of you can “do xyz” learn about dateing “rules” different behaviours etc. NONE of this matters if the other person is not interested in you. I repeat NONE of it. You can’t change someone or manipulate anything or anyone. I agree with Fareen about not just giving yourself away mind and body but this is not a guarantee the man will be interested in you because you stayed classy. He either likes you or he doesn’t. The minute you realise the latter then leave and take all your classiness with you ❤x

Why are you even interested in how wounded men operate ? You are showing up in your masculine energy that’s why you attract so called “ wounded men”, they are just in their feminine energy and they want you to take care of THEM. Easy 🙃🙃 What you need to do is get out of the circle of even thinking about wounded men.

Great advice for initial stages of dating. How do men stay committed once you're in a committed relationship for years? When there's no chase and he knows you're there for him? This is where it gets tough as the guy can take you for granted which nobody wants. Asking because my ex cheated on me years into relationship. I am very slow in dating and get lot of interest from men but it's the after stages of "committment" when it gets tricky.

I agree. There’s truth in some of this advice but some of it is game playing which comes from insecurity, too. I know plenty of married folk where the woman wasn’t deliberately holding back n ensuring the man was always leading. Overthinking the above stuff can make a woman quite disconnected from themselves too.

Secure women don’t play games but they also don’t lower the standards because they are secure. Having your own life and understanding your body is a temple and men come for sex and taking your time isn’t playing games. It comes from greater understanding and wisdom self love . Women have to pace the man. He’ll take sex in 10 mins if he can’t get it.

Do you agree. If a man has been hurt it takes a long time for them to show their feelings. The guy I am seeing when we argue he is the hot head and emotional ones and I am ok whatever and I walk away. He always comes back. I have been single for over 15yrs. Because I wasn't interested in anyone anymore and I enjoy being single

Yes, visualize this spending the rest of you life with him if he doesn't change. Will you be willing to put up with him(on vacations,with your children,at family reunions) ? Some people take days(mood), months(habits) ,years(personality traits) to change.

What am I doing wrong when the one person I actually had a conversation with and felt attracted to ends up leaving the chat? 😵‍💫 Not that I actually feel I did something wrong, but obviously something is amiss? Feels impossible to build a connection with another while maintaining connection with myself. (You don't have to answer, just putting this out there) Like, wow, it actually takes effort to leave a chat. They seemed annoyed I took a few days to respond, while I had thought they were ghosting me as my last message was sent 2 weeks prior. It's ok though, I can feel my self worth going higher now because of this. My brain is confused though.
