Some men do have avodiant attachment styles... some have anxious attachment styles. The gender doesn't matter, but you highlighted a key way those attachment styles trigger eachother.

He never invited me to dinner, but always suggested activities like biking, walking, swimming, watching movies, or cooking together at his house.
