There are avoidants and all stems from childhood trauma..fears of intimacy caused by how the parental figure/caregiver treat us which may cause anxious or avoidance. Not everything is about their conscious decisions on how to respond but subconscious plays even bigger part in our actions either secure or insecure.

If I’M the one who already played my hand at saying I want us to move in together get married one day etc (😓) HOW the heck do I backtrack from that? I finally live on my own and don’t feel the time-pressure for those things anymore (I’m 37 and enjoying living alone - the “plan” was to move in with him in a year). I feel like I got that all wrong and don’t know how to fix it 🤦🏻‍♀️

I understand that when do the games stop. Will we just be together and not have to play to games of inconsistency. Not sure if your talking about a new relationship or people who have invested in relationship’s already.

Point blank period , if a man pulls back he is not interested. I would personally not go back to that man even if he does come back. Move on and be with a man that will never want to be without you!

Men got tired of women acting as men, in general, and have decided it's not worth getting our lives destroyed by the system that we created to benefit and protect everyone in our society, not just women alone. Women accountable for their actions do not exist, and your. This woman has no clue what is like for men to be men in the present day and yet is giving "advice" to women. No wonder women are remaining single forever.

You are speaking about men. But most men are toddlers in grown bodies. This type of men has no clue how to approach women. They are totally helpless. It is a shame that in the age of enlightenment and availability of information there is the greatest confusion in the relationships between men and women.

These videos have been eye opening as a sapphic woman. So I wonder if this applies to a female presenting intersex person whose brain and biology operate as a male. I see it operating on some level so I guess I'll report back if I remember 💜

Honestly, I'm very angry at my narcissistic mother for not giving me boundaries. And letting me create my own identity. Because this is the result and I feel like it's just so unfair. Because not only was suffered under my mother. Then i'm suffering again in relationships.

This is a harsh reality check for me. Totally agree with everything you said. I had a narcissistic mother who created anxiety attachment. And it's been a long journey. I'm a widow over 27 year marriage and when he passed away. And I went to the dating world. It totally was triggered up again. I definitely need to take a step back

This video found me exactly when I needed. The dynamic with my person changed recently and I started to pursue him, so we spend time together. When I do that I don't feel good and it makes me spiral. I should just wait for him to come to me because I am worthy of love and affection and of his time.

Or… rather than trying no contact, just don’t be on your phone all day? Or at his place all the time? Like idk go read, study, workout, cook, anything else you like to do and then tell him all about it when you’re done? And I’m sorry I can’t stomach this high value man/woman bs. Everyone has value, there are just a lot of lost people around.

Hi Fareen, What would you do if a man pulls away after three months of dating about 2-3 times a week? He never invited me to dinner, but always suggested activities like biking, walking, swimming, watching movies, or cooking together at his house. I know he wants to change his job and that his last relationship was very difficult; his ex keeps calling him and visiting, asking him to come back. When he stopped asking me out about two months ago, he called me twice for short chats, telling me about events I might be interested in and asking how I was. I followed your advice and didn’t chase or push him, nor did I ask any questions. Then, three days ago, he called and asked if I wanted to go for a walk around the lake. I was away, so I told him that. He asked me to call him when I got back. Now that I’m back, should I call him, or wait for him to call again? What do you think about his behavior?
