This is one of my favorite ideas ever, I saw Pazjor try it on EAFC ( • World Cup, But Age = Team ) and I had to take it for a spin on Football Manager where we could create a full World Cup up to 47 years old. Are the old guys going to win? No! But, it’s fun to have them around and it’s fun to get a full 32 team tournament to decide the best age once and for all.

@@aw2584 Lukaku missed some big chances, but without Lukaku Belgium wasn't creating anything though. He came back from a big injury and actually shouldn't have been playing in the world cup at all, but he still did, tried to carry a clueless Belgium team at the time. Sad he didn't score but you can't criticise his game against Croatia too much.

When he played for Everton he took over penalty duties from Leighton Baines who had only ever missed one penalty (from a not insignificant 27 or so). I think he scored under half of his. But Martinez wanted him on pens to up his goal tally and confidence.

Brilliant video idea! Imagine if they did this IRL. The core players for the older teams would know each other's games inside out because they'd have been playing together for years and years, perhaps since 16.

Brilliant. It would be fun to see what the CA breakdown of the various teams were - assume that there would be a bit of a CA 'peak' age which I would figure to be in the 27-31 range anyway.

Love this. I was actually going to set up a database like this this week. Already made a regional database (48 subregions around the world + 6 continental u20 teams). I was going to use that db to create it. Thanks for the video. Love these kind of fantasy leagues.

I think this would be more accurate with how the games played out, if you played it as fifa, when in FM database it was bit more random who actually wins the games.

fyi the graphic is wrong at 2:35 , it shows the 16 year olds scoring the goals when it was the 31 year olds, great Idea that as far as i am aware have not been done before. A good fun video to watch

Hey Zealand, have you noticed any performance drops in FM24 since 24.2 released? My graphics card is bad but it could still run High graphics at 1366x768 at a stable framerate but now it's not performing very good, it makes me just not want to play.
