This team is one or 2 pieces away from contending. I mean they are playing with 3 starters and a good bench player all injured and are still competing. With the right pieces if they can keep this same energy they could win a championship in the future.

It's all about coaching and effort. The Knicks have a far better coach than the Pacers, but the Pacers have the deeper and more talented roster. Coaching usually wins out in the playoffs.

The Pacers are the most inconsistent team in the entire NBA. They've beaten the Bucks, Celtics, Heat, Knicks, Thunder, 76ers, etc, but they also lost to the Trail Blazers, Hornets, Nets, Spurs, and Raptors this season. They are the definition of inconsistency.

Please see the last regular season game at Boston vs the Knicks. I think it’s a toss up with the refs and injuries, but Tatum averaging around 22 shooting around 25 percent from three will get you guys swept in the finals-if you make it that far
