It’s wet cause they boiled it. In Vietnam, if you see peanut with the shell, it’s boiled peanuts. If there’s no shell, then it’s roasted

Ahhh I see! We have roasted peanuts outside of the shell, but we also have nuts that are roasted in the shell! Lạc is my new favourite snack, especially with Bia Hơi 🍺

The dish you ate was boiled peanuts ( called Lạc luộc)j, it's not roasted peanuts (Lạc rang), so it was soft and wet.

Thank you! I looked it up online later that day ☺️ It was a bit strange at first but we ate them all so I guess we enjoyed them 😂

@@HenryWrideExplores"lạc" is the way peanuts are called in the North. In the South they call it "đậu phộng"

In the north peanut is called Lac and in the south Dâu Phong or Dâu Phung .
