So the dry mung bean cake that you ate are usually eaten while sipping on tea. One of the reason why it is so dry

I wish I’d known that before! I’ll have to try it again now ☺️

It’s vey cool of you guys to learn the local language while visiting. Don’t feel offended if some locals laugh when you speak. They are not making fun of you. It’s just the way they react when foreigners speak with an accent that they can’t understand . It’s all good.
@HenryWrideExploresАй бұрын
We are trying to make an effort ☺️ I don’t mind if people laugh and wouldn’t get offended 🙂

At 42:40 ish, the pandan candy you eat is made in the Mekong Delta. In fact if you take the Mekong Delta tour, the guide will take you to the candy factory where they make these type of candies. They are cut mostly by hand , therefore the sizes are not identical. You eat that by letting it melt in your mouth, not chew it like that. It’s sticky.
@HenryWrideExploresАй бұрын
Ahhh that’s so interesting!!! We did notice the difference in sizes. I think chewing it was a mistake because it got completely stuck in my teeth 😂

With the Baked Mung Bean Cake and the Durian Cake, as a Vietnamese I think you should have them with some green tea (As shown in the package). Nice video and cute couple. Hope your channel will grow faster. KZfaq promotion should help (since your channel has a lot of videos about Vietnam, focus on the Vietnamese audience and you will soon get a tons of subs). Good luck!

A good mix of snacks indeed. May I suggest a few items. The Pocky in the yellow box is Nutty Almond from Thailand and it is delicious! Lipton makes a black tea with lemon that is also my go to. I also love an instant noodle cup named Thịt Xào. Thanks for sharing! Safe travels to you both!
@aarons5689Ай бұрын
Have to add that pandan is a flavor we don’t really see in the US, but I love pandan flavored cakes. So good!
@HenryWrideExploresАй бұрын
Hey thanks for watching! I'll be sure to try the Pocky next time I see them. I already love Lipton ice tea and I'll keep my eyes open for the noodles too 🙂 Thank you so much!
