In the US it’s extremely easy to get a license which explains the bad drivers, my DMV Instructor for the road test took me around 6 blocks I only had to back up along the curb and do a 3 point turn and they said I passed.

... It's a state by state thing, even city by city in some cases. What redneck ass state do you live in? In NY the driving exam takes like 40 minutes, and in NYC specifically you can't even drive until you are 18.

In Florida we take our driving tests in the parking lot of the DMV... explains a lot about drivers in Florida.

@@MissPenelopeLane On top of my DMV experience I took the drivers Ed class in a community college, they let everyone sleep during class their reasoning was “I get paid no matter what, if you fail that’s on you” People don’t know who has right of way too, everyone thinks they know the law when they don’t 😂

I had take a defensive drivers course before I could make a drivers test appointment but during the test I had to do everything you listed except for the 3 point turn

Yes, but even on a 100km trip it's only like 2-10mins extra. Rarely that will matter.

When was that? because when I did mine, it was a minimum of 50hrs. Also, you say that and there is a good few of us, me included that legitimately did the required time, but YOU KNOW most people that just want a licence would just fake the time sheet.

Difficulty of driving tests are different in each country. My mom got a license to drive about 20 years ago back home and she never even got into a car. My dad taught her afterwards.

With loris (or road trains or semis) in case you wanna know, most of the time their locked at 100kmh so on a 110 road, they are expected to let you pass. And also, and arguably more importantly, those mudflaps on them tyres only catch about 80% of the gravel they fling, leaving the rest to pepper your paint and windshield which can lead to minor damage or in worse case: chipped or cracked windscreen.

in certain situations, trucks won't let cars pass, either because they see something up ahead, or they got information relayed to them over the radio. it could be about an accident, or because there's unsafe road/weather conditions that make it dangerous for passing cars (such as extreme wind, which could cause the trailer to tip). i remember seeing a trucker on tiktok talk about it, since he had some comments asking why they do it

5:38 no you don't get it. The person recording wasn't the one distracted. They had an advance left light which means that its safe to turn left and they have the right of way. The car on the other side also had an advance left green light so they also turned. Now the car going straight from the opposite side was the distracted one and saw the car beside them moving, so they also started driving and crashed into the car that was turning.

Bro just really asked if a guy reading a book was a guy eating lunch LMAO. It said Library on the sign and it's a guy reading a book as that's usually the sign for it. Maybe it's not the same in the UK, but that's how it is in Canada. Also, I'm talking about the clip at 1:53.
