I got a spare room all setup as my girlfriend is a fucking nightmare to sleep next too. Constantly figiting, coming on my side, talking. It was causing lots of arguments and making me so enraged I set up a new bedroom out of spite but its actually been so helpful. I can get a full night rest so I am not irritable and it has made our relationship so much happier and stronger. Dave story reminds me of my self. Played since august 2002.played 3-7 editions. Been playing a bad an 5ed campaign for the last 2 years. Some friends wonder if I want to play a crusade campaign for 10th. Sure, choose eldar. So far, 3 games in, been tabled at turn 2 and 3. No idea what stratagems are. Haven’t played 8 or 9ed. Not so sure they aren’t power gamers, after one of them play necrons, had a cat an shard at 1000 points, and that fucker can’t die, 3 inv save, feel no pain, half all damage, and get back 1d3 wounds per turn. Think I go back to 5ed. Sure, I could learn the codex, but having to get the codex, data cards, the app, stratagems and the rule book, and indexes, I get flash backs to end of 7ed. I want to play a tabletop game, not a chaos spawn of magic the gathering, dungeons and dragons, poker, warhammer. Where can I find “the naked chef, version”. Step 1, no stratagems, army rules or any of that. Main rules and weapon rules. Keep it simple.

On that halfway point story about Dave I have a small suggestion. If you have a single friend who plays with you all the time then you should make an effort to learn their rules too so you can help and correct them when necessary.

OnePageRules for the win! I like to mix Age of Fantasy and Grimdark Future using my old Heroscape models.

Hard for me to find opponents that are not high tier power players, that only care for their win lose record. So hence my guard tank heavy army scares them from wanting to play me. I have blasted them all off the table by turn 3, lol I so hate primarus marine armies. I always though or read they can only be deployed if your opponent fields a demon on the table? Still looking for opponents that play fair, so my tanks must ride on 😁
