I don’t think Kinkajou was ever romantically interested in Turtle aside from the love spell. She was into Winter in Moon Rising due to his “mysterious” brooding personality and “tortured” resenting attitude. She hardly took any notice of Turtle, who one could commonly consider to be “boring” (something Kinkajou REALLY doesn’t want to see in a friend, much less a lover). After that, literally all that happens is: they split paths, Kinkajou gets put in a coma, and then wakes up with a sudden love for Turtle. I can’t imagine how that could’ve stemmed from anything except Anemone’s enchantment. Sorry Turtlejou supporters, but the ship seems one-sided.

i feel peril and turtle are far more compatible, they make a good team and they both can relate to the feeling of desprately wanting another dragon to like them but having them only see them as a friend (kinkajou, clay)

Can you do one on Cricket and Blue? Personally, they don’t really have much anything in common

There would only be a few reason I wouldn't like this ship. If turtle put the love spell on her, or if he took advantage of her while she was under it. Also if kinkajou didn't question how she felt about him after it was off. In the first book moon rising she wasn't romanticly attached to anyone. Also no winter does not count. she and literly every single person in her winglet have mentioned how stunning winter was. And as far as I can remember no one but turtle has of kinkajou in a romantic way. All in all I don't mind this ship.

Their still testing out there relation ship I actually love it you can have this and clays and perils ship but I really dont shop turtle and peril no offence

I dont mean to be rude, but some dragons show their love diferently as you can see with Willow x Sudew and Perils love for clay so Kinkajou might have had feeling for him and projected them differently but because of the spell Anomoni put on her the feeling she had were foraced to be like Turtles, again this is just my opinion you can ship who you would like. I didn't really care about the turtle and Kinkajou ship after the love spell was placed on Kinkajou, in my opinion, it was cute at first before Anemone got involved. My favorite ship so far would have to be ripami and sunllow

Well, to be fair to turtlejou shippers, at the end of book 10, Kinkajou decides to hang out with turtle to sort out her feelings. So it could work in the future.
