I think the age difference makes more sense considering that all the age inconsistencies are also tribe differences. Like Anenome and Cliff are the same age, but it’s completely possible that seawings just mature/age a lot faster than SkyWings. Same with Mink. That’s my HC anyway. Also, there is a mention of NightWings reaching physical adulthood at 10 instead of 7, so that little bit makes me believe more in the HC.

Coming from a WoF fan, I love the graphic novels. I tried to read the full wings of fire normal book (the first one) but I lost it so I couldn’t finish but then I got the first 5 as a graphic novel. Honestly the graphic novels are better in my opinion, I DONT CARE ABOUT THE SCENERY! I WANNA KNOW WHAT HAPPENS!

Fun fact if you didn't know: dilophosaurus unlike in Jurassic Park never had frills and I believe their names mean dual crested lizard and there is a dinosaur similar to dilophosaurus I believe it lived in a colder environment and it only had one crest
