By the way, there’s a glitch that’s super easy to perform for infinite Super forms. You select the Super ability, jump in midair, activate it, and then very quickly after activating, cancel the super animation. The game will glitch and will think that you’re not using the Super ability, but it will finish the animation and give you all the effects anyway EXCEPT for specifically the ring drain. I cheesed the Fang fight on my second try with this glitch.

You know what, watching this. I'm glad I gave up on Sky Temple in Trip's story. I don't like giving up on games, but I thought to myself "If I didn't enjoy the main game much, what makes me think I'm going to enjoy playing through the game again, but harder"

That stupid Fang fight is like my least favorite boss in gaming at this point! Like most of the attacks are so easy, long and predictable and then suddenly they just throw in extremely difficult insta kill attacks that are so frustrating and horrible! It actually took me a while to die to the second phase bullet at first and I almost beat it first try so it was so shocking when that it killed me instantly and I proceeded to die for hours on end. I was more angry than I've ever been at a video game but I couldn't bring myself to rage quit because I knew that I'd just just suffer again the next day so I kept going and my reaction to the floor breaking was priceless! And the worst part is that stupid five minute long first phase! Like the attacks on the second phase wouldn't be that hard to learn and master if it weren't for having to redo that disgusting first phase that's might as well be a loading screen since once you get passed the initial shock of the insta kill lasers, it becomes an absolute joke difficulty wise with no fast way to kill it. Like I'm shocked by how horrible this fight was and it's sad too because I adore the design of the giant Fang boss, it's so badass and the ending where Fang breaks the screen like Trip does is endlessly satisfying! And then that stupid Dragon just appears out of nowhere with the only real foreshadowing being from an animation that isn't even IN THE GAME!!! You basically live off the rings that Tails, Knuckles, and Amy give you and they just show up whenever they feel like, and I know there is some dumb pattern but to me it's random and they just love to spawn during the chase phases causing all of the rings to dispawn which just means your dead. You can actually escape the black holes by spam dashing but it takes so many rings. Not to mention how every attack except for those during the chase phases literally do absolute nothing and give no consequences for being hit, just making them an extended wait period except for like the two that do let you hit the dragon. And finally it ends off with an atrocious and easy quick time event that would be not so bad if they didn't just STOP giving ypu rings entirely meaning if you don't have more than 30 rings, you might as well restart as you will certainly lose all your rings and Sonic faces sideways the freaking death animation due to him facing forward and the dead being too lazy to adjust the animation for it!😂 It actually impresses me with how badly they botched that ending like wow! Plus the dragon's theme feels very generic and forgettable and is by far my least favorite Super Sonic final boss theme. And the only reward is the same 10 minute Sonic 4 synth end medley but with Super Sonic despite already going through the same thing as Trip. Also, Trip should have played a part in the finale since she inexplicably becomes a freaking dragon and they do nothing special with it! If it weren't for the terrible bosses, Sonic Superstars would honestly be a way better game. And that was my rant!

As someone who beat the Fang boss (took 1-5 hours I remember) the boss actually felt fair to me… except the nose attack. That came out of nowhere and is the only 2 deaths that actually felt unfair.

i know i also had to endure the pain but its so sad watching you fight fang. especially the head smash desperation attack at the end that one utterly killed me

While I share the same hate for Fang’s Final Boss, The Purple Dragon with Super Sonic I actually enjoyed as his only dangerous attack is the black hole and you can just boost out of it, plus he changes it out with harmless fireballs in phase 2 for some reason. There’s also multiple way to attack him then just wait for the chase sequence like the blue fireballs in phase 1 can be knocked back at him and his hands in Phase 2 can be hit after they swipe if your quick enough. The only thing that makes this fight a challenge is the ring counter (Which makes collecting rings during the fight very crucial even more than dodging his attacks and getting the most out of every Tails and Knuckles fly by.) Overall a fair true final boss fight that isn’t a pushover but doesn’t stress you out…Unlike a Certain Weasel!

I feel you soooo much. I was really mad at the final Eggman Fight but made it after 5 tries. Fang was the middle Finger of the Game. I was so damn angry and hat to be calm cause my little daughter was watching me xD. But the final f***ing Boss fight was RNG Hell i swear to god ... I even had to curse infront of my little one xD. And I had a Bug at the final hit where the screen just turned white and ... that's it. The ring counter went further and I just died after beating it. Did it count? Nooooo ... replay it again ...

honestly you should be glad you skipped out on the last story boss. if you thought trip's final boss was bad, that one might be EVEN WORSE due to just how sparse the rings are. it took me like an hour and a half to beat that stupid dragon and every second of it was pure misery. and then you have to sit through the credits a third time. Lol.

This boss fight made me detest jumping mice Also dw Bilehbawb, it took me about 4hrs too as every hour i'd just get pissed off and have to restart the level when i came back This is legitimately one of the worst bosses i have aever fought and i agree, the least fun i have ever had in a game, ever.

For my final try for the final fight, I can guarantee I DO NOT KNOW HOW IN THE HELL I SURVIVED, I mashed with my god damn life on the line and narrowly avoided the attacks. Like maybe 1 frame away from getting 1 hit killed. I swear, this game was all trial and error. True True Final Boss: For when you get trapped in the black hole, you have to dash. When the Black Dragon (yes, that's its name) spits out those black holes and fire balls, continue moving up and down whilst chasing the Dragon. You don't have to dash to hit the blue meteors. Just touch them. I wish we had gotten a tutorial for this.

I honestly find your reactions to this game, uh... ahdunno, feels a little... exaggerated. Outside of two bugs I had, and two Trip's Story stages I didn't like for instant kill nonsense... Maybe it's just me but the fang boss fight was not hard you just got to be patient i was here for 20 minutes

this final boss is just simply extremely brutally hard and drags on wayyyyy to long and unfair and. it is by far the hardest final boss ive faced in my life i definetly died over 50 times and i Slammed my Ps5 controller a few times thankfully i didnt break it!...... this boss is just Unfair! but when i did finally beat it... it was sooooo Satisfying and to whomever design this boss can Go To Hell!!!!
