In this video series I take a detailed look at WSET Level 1
This video is all about Learning Outcome One - Know the key stages in grape growing and winemaking.
The WSET Level 1 Award in Wines is intended for people who have little or no prior knowledge of wines. It is designed to provide a sound but simple introduction to wines. The qualification will assist those who
need a basic familiarity with the main types and styles of wines, for example people who work with wines as part of a larger beverage portfolio in the retail and hospitality sectors.

Who is thinking of taking WSET Level One this year?

i am a musician, so a bit confused by default..... is there a difference between CWS and WSET L1 certification ? is one recommended over the other ? musicians like me are typically poor, having spent most of their monies on music gear, so Course/Testing price is a factor. (price is NEVER a factor with good gear or good wine, though) !!!!!!!!!! i DO test well, and always study-up.... i love sponging information. Subscribed and notifications on p.s. - i am soon to open a nice Barbaresco, any cheeses you'd recommend ?

@@paultorbert6929 There are also videos describing the differences that you may want to look up. WSET is lesser expensive and more of an actual course. CWS "Here, go study and come back and take a test" This all becoming much more interesting to me... hit me up and maybe we can share!
