There's not many people that can sing with so much compassion and emotions if anyone like Lara When she goes into caricature it takes her a bit to snap back into reality like at the end in this song. And that last note 17 seconds long. A truly amazing artist. Great Reaction Stay Safe ♥️

I loved your reactions - it's really hard not to be emotional listening to Lara - I liked that you didn't feel the need to hide emotions or pretend it didn't affect you two. I also liked that you watched her after the song ended because there was a lot going on there as well, watching her resolve the performance is something most people just dismiss, thinking the "performance" was over. What a great reaction. The fact that you were convinced that this was her life story, shows how deeply she went into character to convey the true emotions of the song. This is in fact a cover. She sings it many times better than the original, just like she does with all of her songs. Lara is a living legend, with a career that spans decades, a true international superstar who sings in many languages, sold over 30 million records, and inspired a new generation of artists, such as Dimash. He covers several of her songs such as Adagio, Mademoiselle Hyde, Love is a dream, etc, and sang in duets with her.

Hello I'm French. The author and first interpret is Serge Lama. I never really like Lara Fabian, but I reconize is talent in this interpretation.

Isn't it interesting how diverse peoples' preferences are? You can like singer X but not singer Y but I like singer Y and not X and yet we can both see the talent that each singer has even if we don't like their music? I appreciate that you're big enough, gracious enough, to acknowledge her talent even though she isn't an artist you like. It distresses me that so many people will say "he sucks" or "they're terrible" or "she can't sing" instead so simply saying "I don't like him/them/her". So, thank you.

You aren't the first to discover European music of the 80's, 90's so on ... with different artiste whatever if they are from France, Germany, Sweden, Italie or Belgium. Dereck react is one of the best exemple. Some are even specialize on rock music etc ... There is a good reason for that. Since age, people around the worl thought that music are only made and good if this one is coming From USA or England (Australia less). Some decade later that's the wake up call, and suddenly you and other notice that even in UE we knew how to do some songs. And that's not all, in Europe they have the same problems, they ignore that in some Eastern countries like Romania, they have also some masterpeaces

Correction: you're referring to her as 'french lady' in the beginning. Infact her parents, Belgian father and Italian (Sardinië) mother are obvious not 'French' ( France). Belgium is tri-lingual , flemish, french and german are the official languages and Lara's father was from a french speaking region of Belgium. Later on she acquired also Canadian citizenship.

Lara is not a French lady. She was born in Belgium, with an Italian mother. She's now a Canadian citizen who lives in Montréal with her husband and their little girl.

The video was so good. I recommend you to listen to Je Suis Malade covered by Forestella. I've never heard the original song, but it's so nice to be able to compare it to the original song. You won't regret it with emotion and joy compared to the Forestella covered song.
