Zeke Yaeger is the former War Chief of Marley's Warriors, assigned to take the Founding Titan from the Eldians of Paradis Island. He is the current holder of the Beast Titan, and is considered the strongest warrior by Reiner Braun, contrasting Levi Ackermann's title of "humanity's strongest soldier." He manipulated and deceived both sides of the war between Eldia and Marley in order to achieve his own agenda of causing the extinction of his own people, which he views as "salvation." He is the son of Grisha Yaeger and Dina Fritz, older half-brother of Eren Yaeger through his father and a member of the Fritz royal family through his mother.

Mike didn’t cooperate at all and then defied him. Of course he would get a little flustered. Also Titans are a lot more efficient at killing people than real life animals so Mike‘s suffering wouldn’t have lasted any longer than depicted in the show.

Am I the only one who actually likes Zeke? Even from the start, I was immediately intrigued by his character and knew he was gonna be a hella interesting guy (yes even though he killed very beloved characters rip). And I was right, I think Zeke’s childhood is one of the most tragically realistic and compelling stories of the ones we’ve seen, I mean, I found myself sympathetically rooting for little Zeke the whole time. Honestly his childhood experiences hit close to home for me, which has never happened before in any other series, one of the reasons I love AoT so much. As season four progressed, we got to see more of him and his complexity drive the season’s theme of perspective and moral ambiguity. When I look back on why AoT is a good show, I immediately think of Zeke because he represents all of the unique layers, twists, and rich characters shown throughout this incredible story and the show’s debate of whether anything is really good or bad. Overall, I just think he’s a really underrated character and should be appreciated more by the community. oh also he is monke

zeke to me represents the king’s ideology trying to pass as more merciful. i can see why people sympathize with him but he really does revel in the act of killing

People just hate Zeke because he isn't Eren. Honestly with the kind of backstory zeke has, i would have expected him to turn out to be a brutally evil character fighting for justice (like eren) but instead we see him trying to fix things till his last breath, so that no one has to go through what he went through and THAT is what makes me love him so much.

Zeke is literally the living representation of "not everyone in aot is bad ." in the beginning no one really liked zeke because he is responsible for mikes,erwin and a bunch of other character deaths. Zeke has been exploited his whole life, first by Grisha, then by Marley, and in the end by Eren. Tom Ksaver was the only genuine and selfless connection he had with someone, he was the only one who cared enough to have real conversations with him and make him not feel miserable about himself (like when tom complimented his pitching skills, was it that hard to do Grisha), the fact that Tom was more of a father to Zeke than his actual biological father is utterly sad, and also that Zeke had to physically eat the only man who cared for him is even more devastating. I love that Zeke always carried tom's glasses and the baseball with him as a memory, that shows how much those little baseball conversations meant to him. Yall be hating Zeke solely for the reason that he isn't Eren, yall love Eren and then be hating gabi who is literally the female version of eren like have an original thought for once don't just blindly follow the guy who has been shown as the protagonist and don't go on hating the guy who disagrees with the protagonist. I mean you can love Eren for several reasons but just don't ignore all the other beautifully written characters of the show.

Itachi's betrayal of Uchiha's and his father Fugaku is exactly the same as Zeke betraying Eldia and Grisha. In their story, Itachi and Zeke look a lot like each other. Brain washed by their fathers to become spys for their clan. But they finally prefered the side of those they were supposed to spy on... Itachi rooting for Konoha's peace and stability over Uchiha Clan Zeke rooting for Marley's peace and stability over Eldia But people see Itach as a good guy buy despise Zeke. That's funny. At least in Zeke's plan, all Eldian were not supposed to be murdered.

Idk about hate, he's fictional. But despite his (questionably) noble intentions and sad childhood (every maniacs alibi, right) he is taking immense amounts of pleasure from killing people. Even for AoT. No other Warrior was so maniacal in their approach, they did what they thought "had to be done", Reiner even had emotional breakdown and PTSD after all the stuff he had to do. Zeke? Well, that guy laughed and joked around while slaughtering hundreds of people by pelleting them with rocks. People he supposedly emphatised with. The first Paradisian he met, instead of just killing him quickly he played around, taking away his gear and watchin as he was devoured by pures. It's not about him killing Erwin. It's about being way too happy about being given a chance to slaughter people, all the while preaching humanitarianism. And his best idea to achieve the "perfect solution" was forced sterilization of an entire nation (might ring some bells for those paying attention to current events). Screw that guy.

That’s emotional reasoning, not rational. Zeke Yeager had the right idea for relieving the suffering of the Eldians by preventing their reproduction. He was the greatest moral hero on the show, who tried to solve the source of the problem while avoiding total war and mass death.
