I didn't realize this until match time yesterday, but I think being able to completely focus on Jurgen on his last day was so special and if we were still in the title race I think the occasion is totally different, I am actually thankful nothing was riding on the game and maybe one of the only times in my life I will feel that way on match day 38. Thank you to The Wrap for all the amazing coverage and appreciation of Klopp during his time, these were some of the best years of my life. We move forward together, YNWA ❤

Thanks for the memories Jurgen, it's been a fantastic tenure, we just need a few tweaks and additions to go up to the level of Arsenal & City, it's conceding the first goal as well as 45GA that hurt us this time around, plus the injuries.

Fun fact. The Dutch have a saying 'doen normaal', loosely translated means just be yourself, or just be your normal. Slot will hopefully be allowed to be himself and take us forward following the foundation that Klopp has left behind..

Could not agree more with the discussion surrounding TAA. I cant imagine Slot playing him the similar way to Klopp and take on the same level of risk. TAA must have a more defined role which gives him freedom and at the same time the team, does not sacrifice defensive structure.

36 shots , 12 shots off target, 10 shots blocked. Thats 22 shots that had virtually no chance of being goals. That's down to decision making around the box. Too often we shoot when we should pass and vice versa.

If you are a low level team and sit back against the top clubs you get lots of breaks with time space to line everything up for the 3 shots you get a game , when your the biggest club in the world the top scalp then everyone , sits back and low blocks , which means your strikers have not got the time and space and have to swing and hope basically ,

The fastest way Slot could turn the supporters against him on day 1 is try to out-Klopp, Klopp. That man has a special place in the heart of all supporters, time for Slot to write his own chapter of the club's history and I would be more than happy for him to be the quiet one who lets the results, titles and trophies do the talking for him.

The best football we were playing was pre afcon/injury riddled Jan, and Trent was playing an inverted role, I think the role works but I also think that certain tweaks need to be made, I think Trent has transcended the traditional RB role and there’s no point asking him to play that, we just need to figure out how to make the inverted role work because he would be best placed there. No harm in taking a page from city/arsenal, they play with inverted full backs but have figured out how to not be as exposed, so we just need to figure that out too and we’ll be good.

Truth is we may loathe city but they have shown the quality and level of play needed to win and dominate.. Arsenal also don't seem far behind. We had our moment in the sun this season, when all looked possible. A cluster of factors conspired against us. So near but yet so far. Let us see what Slot can do with the klopp legacy. 😮

Let’s remember the very Favourable VAR & Ref decisions that went Man City’s way during the two seasons that we supposedly lost by 1 point. I say supposedly because without those VAR & Ref decisions, Liverpool would of won by some points. Call me bitter If you want.....and you would be right.

Trent is a modern right back and that means others compensate or we have a regular right back that cant assist like Trent or have goal involvments and passes from deep. Nobody can say he,s proved he,s a boss midfielder . Until he s a better midfielder than he is in his right back role. Its not as if he,s played 6 games just in midfield were we've seen he s a midfielder. I'm guessing they've tried in training more than once . Unless you believe Klopp and Co are stupid. So I dunno really I'd have to see him just in midfield like none of us have. YNWA

As an LFC fan 💯 but one who hasn’t lived the experience live in the ground I don’t have an attachment to Klopp in the same way & think we need the change. it feels right because it’s right for him & that’s partly why I think Jurgen wasn’t in bits & more celebratory. Watching the last few games there are many improvements to be made, I’d sell Diaz & Salah for starters … I’m looking forward to a new coach, a new approach & perhaps one that’s less emotional with more control with an ultimate focus to win! YNWA

Klopp is up there with all the legends. He’s probably second to Shanks. I remember being shocked when Gutmann was calling for Klopp’s head when we were underperforming last season. I’m glad he’s gone out on his own terms and built a solid team for us before saying a proper goodbye.

@Skooty68 you might want to check on your 3 prems, actually 2,93/94, and your fa cups were 90/94,just 2 ,klopp has appeared in 3 European cup finals ffs won everything, and lets face it pound for pound, utd had the most money to spend. Ferguson should have been winning.
