Only when we admit we have a problem can we begin to find solutions. In the first episode of "How to Build a Happy Life," we explore the neuroscience of emotional management, practices that help us befriend our inner monologue, and challenges to getting in touch with our feelings. Our journey to happier living starts with the question: How do I feel right now?
This episode of "How to Build a Happy Life" features Dan Harris, the former ABC News anchor, meditation expert, and founder of Ten Percent Happier.
This episode was produced by Rebecca Rashid and hosted by Arthur Brooks. Editing by A.C. Valdez, Katherine Wells, and Gillian White. Fact-check by Ena Alvarado. Sound design by Michael Raphael.

The benefits of meditation are well documented. Unless this program talks about external barriers to happiness, such as corporate and public policies, I don't see it being much use to anybody. 🙂

Yea, good point, it’s also important to recognize that everyone’s at a different point in the learning curve, for every subject right? So, maybe this is a good stepping stone for someone

If you read the blue zones happiness book it's basically a list of public/social decisions that everyday individual people don't control. I had to stop reading it. "Have more nature in your community" lol okay Dan
