Can't get over how dry the paddocks are looking up that way Brenton. We've had plenty of rain down here near Lake Mac, I had no idea things were so dry up there over the winter!

It's super dry here unfortunately mate, even the Roo's 🦘 have headed outta the hills and into the street day and night.

@theaussielawn I lived on the street near the hospital there for 6 months about 10 years ago and I get up that way for work from time to time so I kind of know the town a bit. Work sends me up that way randomly and last I was up there I swear there were puddles on the side of the road.

Hi Mark, Thanks mate Its great to be back! The yard is going to get really dry this season we are already on the verge of a drought here unfortunately. I hope I stay healthy too haha I was so over it.

So happy you are back uploading! Looking forward to your season greatly! Up here in Brisbane I started renovation 3 weeks ago on our Kikuyu and did a liquid feed to get it going fast along with a soil wetter as it was so hydrophobic. Was my first reno and the amout of thatch was insane. I removed all the thatch with a metal rake and hard scalp with my toe cutter and it was brutal work as I dont own a scarifier yet. Learnt so much from your videos and now my lawn looks incredible. Currently 70 percent recovered. Thanks for all your great content! Learnt so much.

Hope you're near on 100% mate. Question about the scalp on the green, around 20:16 in the vid, the dark brown spots near the surround...what are those? I've noticed a few smaller dark brown spots in some thatchy areas in mine and curious to know if it's a disease or fertilizer burn?

I think they may have been worm castings flattened by the mower. Its not that noticeable in real life
