Wacken Festival Tickets are usually sold out within Minutes after they unlock the "buy" option. It's ~90.000 Tickets each Year. Sold out in 10-15min. Btw. there are Documentaries about "Wacken". If you're interested. The Village has also an own Beer-Brewery which only sell their beer on this Festival Weekend and they produce the rest of the Year to fill up their storage. xD

This was one of their big European hit singles. Thus the more straight ahead commercial vibe. You need to check out the new stuff. Amazing. "Dead Boys Poem" or "10th Man Down". It's all good stuff. Floor and the boys are killing it!

There's a new bluray that was released earlier this month. Decades Live in Buenos Aires. It's a concert from the 2018 tour that was in support of their greatest hits release. It has several much older songs that Floor has never performed before so it's worth checking out. Showcases some of the really early sounds and how they've changed over the years.

Tuomas said in an interview that this is the song that was the quickest one ever to write for him. Took just 2,5 hrs from start to finish to write the music.

If you want to go to wacken I wish you luck. Wacken is usually sold out in 15 minutes! That is before even a single act has been confirmed! People buy the tickets blind, the moment the sale starts. That’s 90,000 tickets, gone only minutes after the sale starts... amazing.

You guys should listen to After Forever. That's Floor as the lead singer of the predecessor of Epica from over 15 years ago. Follow in the Cry, Monolith of Doubt and Beautiful Emptiness are great examples and live registrations can be found on YT, but not with the HD of nowadays unfortunately.. Hope you will enjoy

Wacken 2020 went on sale the day after Wacken 2019 closed and sold out in less than 24 hours without the lineup being set. Judas Priest is celebrating their 50th anniversary (man do I feel old) at Wacken 2020 as the headline band!!! There are several thousand tickets being held by travel companies I think if you want to get a package deal but the 80,000 tickets to Wacken 2020 for individual sale are long gone boys!!! This was their big hit that was a real fan favorite thus Floor getting the crowd into it. Tuomas is stunned at how Floor gets the crowd so into his song and her LIVE version here is so great thanks to the crowd. Happy holidays boys and try Floor doing a holiday song in Finnish without Nightwish while 6 months pregnant (kzfaq.info/get/bejne/r9NhisZmydO5iZc.html), even pregnant she works the crowd at the end as only Floor can do!!! Have a happy holidays boys!!

Funny you mentioned this reminds you of "Live and Let Die", because every time I hear "Alpenglow" it reminds me of that song, the main riff is almost identical.

Don't touch those Wacken/Bloodstock 2018 concerts. They have horrible audio. Wembley or Tampere 2015, or Buenos Aires 2018. Or do older stuff like "From wishes to eternity" (2000), and "End of an Era" (2005).

I recommend "Nemo", but from Wembley 2015 as it is enriched by Troy adding his touch to the sound. Then it's time to get on with the new Decades concert from Buenos Aires 2018. Several golden oldies in there, brought back on stage with Floor, it's pretty damn awesome. Bringing songs such as "gethsemane" and "sacrament of wilderness" in live proves that Floor is definitely not afraid of taking on literally everything...!

You guys, Wacken start its ticket sales immediately after the festival is over and its sold out within minutes. Every year. And nobody would give those tickets away. It's like on the bucket list of the things you have to do before you die of every metal fan who goes to festivals. And for most metal bands and musicians it's the final goal, to play there. And it IS one of the greatest festivals I've ever been to, but definitely the most tiring. My obligatory additional week of vacation to recover from a festival was not enough after Wacken. I'd rather recommend 'Summer Breeze', second biggest german festival. It's in the south and in August, so it's warmer, it's smaller and it's more actual metal than Wacken. You don't have to walk half an hour from your tent to the stage area there. And they have better showers and toilets there.

Floor is indeed bigger than Nightwish alone, whether she knows it or not, but she's truly a very nice and honestly modest person by nature. Tuomas once said that he will definitely and surely pull the plug on Nightwish for good if Floor should decide to leave the band. Floor said it herself numerous times that that will never happen. She made it abundantly clear that she has no plans of leaving the band whatsoever and stays with Nightwish by choice regardless of her current status, because she's happy and feels at home within Nightwish, she belongs in Nightwish. She's having the best time with the band, aside from all solo projects and collaborations with other artists. That's just fun on the side for variation. She considers her fellow bandmates to be her brothers. Within the band there's an amazing atmosphere, a great professional working relationship and a true mutual respect for eachother. There's no diva behaviour from anyone, no temper tantrums, no hassle and hustle, just joyful music making and having fun with eachother in the process. You can hear that in the recordings. Tuomas is truly happy to the core and that shows in his creativity and compositions, with Endless Forms Most Beautiful as proof of that. I personally can't wait for the new album to come out. Luckily I already have my ticket for their upcoming show in November 2020.

Nightwish was actually my favorite band before I discovered BTS. May I recommend "The Greatest Show on Earth" and preferably a lyric video as the lyrics are the best part and you dont to miss anything. It's also pretty long so prepare snacks 🤣.

Stan will like that one - it's from 1998 album and has a cool 90s vibe to it, plus it's very operatic. Beautiful in both original version from Tarja, and as sung by Floor in 2015 Tampere concert. Thanks, Wacken 2013 and Nightwish is good. Don´t use your time other Wacken dates, sound quality is not good. From Floor era Wacken 2013, everything from 2015 and Buenos Aires 2018 are good. Also there is one song from Buenos Aires 2012 (Ghost Love Score). From 2015 there are several songs, cos they made a big package from that. This tour live dvd have two full concerts (Tampere, better audio and Wembley) and 10 extra songs taken here and there. So, from 2015 quite much official material. Those 2018 Wacken and Bloodstock are not made by Nightwish but local organizer. And quality is not so good. Buenos Aires 2018 is Nightwish official and there is same songs (same tour). So, from 2018 please stick to Buenos Aires. PS. Amaranth official video is viewed here in KZfaq about 105 000 000 times, second biggest number from Nightwish. Only Bye Bye Beautiful has bigger number (about 110 000 000 views).
