My friends and I did the exact same thing last fall going from Verona to Venice, we were walking to the correct car instead of just getting on right away, we didn't realize the train would only stop for 30 seconds! We were able to get on the next train 20 minutes later, so no big deal, but taught us a valuable lesson about train travel, just get on!

I lived in Italy for four years while stationed there with the Army. I was literally jumping up and down when I seen this series release. It's so nice to see others' experience of Italia. I've been here since the beginning with Southeast Asia. Thank you for all you guys do!

Lake Garda is an absolute must for any trip to northern Italy. Because it's located between three regions, it's convenient to include in your itinerary whether as a base for day trips or as a day trip from Milan, Venice, or the Dolomites

Im so glad that you guys are back at it again after such an awful 2 years we had which felt like normality wont be here again, but we are through it and things are even better, looking forward to more episodes of this beautiful country, and the hidden gems that lie in italy, i would love to see more bike adventures throughout instead of trains and ferrys theirs more adventure with bike and the discoveries are endless, this would help the budget stretch real far but i suppose commitments i.e time from work are stretched i guess maybe in future this would be amazing, paddy thinking of you mate cant wait to see you on the camera as well 😀❤👏📽 love you guys. ❤

The tent stay at the garden of the friend's family place is genuinely disappointing. That's just not done, if the weather is so bad, and 2 guests are camping at my garden, one can't let them sleep in the cold tents overnight (and then no toilet in the morning). Either invite them to the apartment, or provide some better logistics, or shift them to some other locals place. Can't think of this happening to me, or I'm doing this to anyone around my place (I live in Asia, not mentioning the country as that's not the point here).

Another great episode. Lol I love when shit hits the fan at the minute when backpacking!! Never know if you'll thrive or just survive ! Love the work guys keep it up!

I predict that you will catch the 19:49 train to Verona then on to Venice. Your ticket is still valid for the next train. Now you will know where the train stops so you can get right on. The train you missed was the RE 2637 at 18:49. Besides, the 18:49 train only had a five minute connection in Verona, so you might have missed that connection anyway. We were in Italy in November and got quite familar with the trains especially the regional "less expensive" trains. When you said 1 hour and 30 minutes to Venice, I thought "Why are they taking the high speed train which has to be much more expensive". You made the smart move and saved some money!!

Lina looked spent, slowly walking the bike to the train. Perhaps the train conductor was with his drinking buddy and said, “hey guys watch this! Doors close” Anxious to see how it turned out. Just like watching a regular drama. Great cliffhanger!

The good news is that the further south you go, the cheaper it will be. In Sicily, I remember paying something 18 Euros a night for a hostel and I was able to eat easily under 25 Euros a day.
