Will your current adjustable track bar bolt up to this or do we need to wait for the specific 2019+ track bar?
@thecarlisuspension4 жыл бұрын
The 2019+ runs a different track bar than the one designed specifically for the 14-18. Our new 1419 bar will install on a 2014 to current.

Very cool. I’m torn between this and the 3.5 kit. I want to do some heavy towing but also fly though some dirt roads. How much would the 3.5 kit impact towing capacity?

Here is a question for you (I work at an alignment shop)... Why do you (and other manufacturers) put the adjustment at the axle end for the track bar? On some trucks & other track bar designs it makes it a royal pain to adjust, LOL, if the customer did get the axle centered. Take it off, put it back on, take it off, etc. Seems like it might be easier (from my point of view) where the adjustment is easiest to get to. I'm just curious.
@thecarlisuspension5 жыл бұрын
Because the axle is the only place with space for it. the bar comes out of the frame pocket at an angle to clear the pumpkin, there's no joint to facilitate an adjustment there and, if there was, strength would be a major concern. The way we have it is really the simplest, most effective way with the least amount of potential failure points (like a double-adjustment collar). The aforementioned would make adjusting easier but it's not worth the additional failure points as the bar should only be adjusted once; set by the installer. If the front axle is that off-center when it shows up for an alignment, there was something wrong with the initial installation.

If ordering the 2.5 Pintop Leveling System, will the base kit as ordered provide the same ride without the optional sway bar, steering stabilizer, radius arms and radius arm drop brackets?
@thecarlisuspension4 жыл бұрын
The base kit will ride awesome and the torsion sway bar will take it up a notch from there. The Radius arms will add a bit more and the radius drops won't do anything for the ride quality, nor will the stabilizer - that's to help control the steering of the vehicle, not the ride.

I have a '16 2500 Cummins with air ride... Do you have something that will work with that truck? Or is there a way to delete the rear air ride?
@thecarlisuspension5 жыл бұрын
We do not manufacture anything specifically for the air ride rear 2500s. Companies like CJC Offroad have been selling our systems with an extended rear leveling sensor link to lift the rear to match the front.
@aaronkershaw21074 жыл бұрын
I'm doing my research as I've never had a 2500 before. I'm going to be installing an Airlift or Firestone airbag kit to my rear end. I want to install your kit to front end only. I'm gonna stick with stock 20in wheels with stock size tires. Is it still necessary to change the track bar as well or will it be ok without it, as I'm running stock tire size?
@thecarlisuspension4 жыл бұрын
The track bar should always be added to a leveling kit to center the axle to the chassis.
@austin21873 жыл бұрын
What kit would give you the best ride fir the streets for the 2500 between all of the carli kits Would the dominator be better than that commuter on the roads? Obviously better off-road 2nd question Would you compare the ram 3500 srw with the pintop ride better than a stock ram 2500
@thecarlisuspension3 жыл бұрын
Dominator would be best all around, that's correct - on road, and off! Pintop on a 3500 will be way better than a stock 2500, the 2500 may be a touch softer in the rear but that's definitely not "better"

The frame width is different - we need to alter the mounting. The design changes are in process; the 13-18 bar will not fit.

I got the 19 2500 limited megacab. With air bag in the back. I want to level it with the 35" i dont go off road but i have to be on dirt/rock road all the time. Which kit do you recommend
@thecarlisuspension4 жыл бұрын
We don't manufacture anything specifically for the air ride 2500 trucks, unfortunately. If you call CJC Offroad, they have a solution to adapt our Leveling System and Pintop Leveling System to your truck. If you're on dirt/rock but not pushing the truck, the leveling system will work great for you. If you want to pick up the speed, the Pintop would be a better fit. Either way, you'll want to add the adjustable track bar. This should be available in the next 2-3 months for the 19+ Rams.

@thecarlisuspension5 жыл бұрын
The standard leveling system will be, the Pintop will not be. The rear spring pack in the 3500 doesn't pair well with the King 2.5" Shocks. When we swap the add-a-pack or Full Progressive Leaf Springs, it makes available a whole new level of performance! We recommend the 3.25" Pintop to the 3500 guys.

I'm sick of thumping around town. Does your lift take away from the factory ride? And second question. Does ur lift work with the factory installed air bags?
