While waiting for parts for my transmission I decided to tackle the floors of my F100. Being rotted out it was a relatively easy task. Here I tackled the passenger side and the drivers side is next.

Craig, you do realise that if you fix your floors your're getting rid of your aftermarket air conditioning lol...

+Thecraig909 Maybe time to think about saving up for a classic air set-up after the Crown Vic swap is complete, even with white paint I suspect you're going to roast during the summer in Cali...

Craig, look into a spot weld drill bit. I did the same thing you did and found out the spot weld drill bit is so much easier to mess with.

nice work! for the edge near do the door seal, you would usually cut out the spot welds and re-spot weld in the new panel, then seam seal. good work though!

have you ever timed the truck? I need to on my 1979 f150, it stubbles at very low throttle. any ideas?
@Thecraig909
@Thecraig909 6 жыл бұрын
Yea mines timed at 14 degrees with no vacuum advance. However a good tune for your truck would be 10 degrees with a vacuum advance.

Thecraig909 I’m also rebuilding a 1970 Ford Maverick, the biggest part right now for the car is replacing the quarter panels because the last person to own it filled them in with Bondo completely Instead of doing bodywork. When I saw this video it made me realize I have to also replace my floor🤔💯👌
