I really enjoyed watching your art drawing process. I have hand fed Rainbow lorikeets here in Australia they are really bold and I enjoy watching them. Your Chickadees are really sweet too. Thank You for sharing.

love the little chickadees, use to see them everyday, miss seeing them, besides the evil canadian goose, chickadees remind me of home 😀 great spread of the cute birbs. i was able to feed a hawk a few times at a deer centre, was very cool feeling the wings in my face and the weight when he landed

Awesome journal and video! I've hand-fed a chestnut-backed chickadee once, and I hand-feed a scrub jay named Scruffy every day. Still working on painting/drawing them.

Great video and I'm inspired to continue to work on my own bird sketchbook! I'm a newbie subscriber, thanks to Dena's challenge! Chickadees are by far, my favorite bird for the very reason that they will take seeds from an open hand. They are also kind to other birds at the bird feeders that I have.

Your Black-capped Chickadees are wonderful! How lucky to live near a bird sanctuary where they will come over and be hand-fed. We feed them in our backyard feeders, but they are too skittish to get that close. The sketch you drew on screen and the painting you made in your journal are wonderful. Excellent layering process. I am hoping you will join in on the Favorite Bird Art Challenge I am hosting. You would be a fantastic addition.

I absolutely LOVE this video!! Birds are my favorite, and feeding them getting so up close would be a dream of mine. Hi Leila, that’s stunning! I have tried acrylic once when I painted my spinning wheel, it’s nice but it dries quite fast! Don’t know if it’s the quality of the paint (cheap ones) or i painted on wood 🤷🏻‍♀️. Maybe one day i will get a better paint and start again 😊. Love your bird and i definitely support you, sub! 🎉🥰💜

I hope the video helps! Feel free to trace photocopies of birds as well so you can start identifying the main shapes…drawing can be intimidating but practicing with intent will sharpen your skills quickly 😊 Drawing is all about “seeing things differently.” Thanks for watching!
