There really is no end to your talent Daniel, I thought the first version was good then you pull this out the hat.. Awesome work and you are so clever programming that fpga to work from hyperspin.. I've not even finished my first one and already I want to build this one.. I'm sure I speak for all the viewers when I say a massive thank you for all your videos Daniel taking the time to show us it's all possible from the comfort of your home. The best arcade machine I've ever seen by far 🙌

What I like about this is every time I go back to my career and other hobbies routine, I see Daniel's updates and it motivates me to update my arcade with more features...my girlfriend is going to kill me....though she wants me to build her a pinball machine, so there's some compromise lol

Great work Daniel. I have a mister and have been wondering how to integrate it into my cabinet and you seem to have figured it out. I might be missing something (I'll watch again), but can you go into a little more detail on what the relay actually does to the mister unit? does it just switch the hdmi ports? is there a website or article you can point me toward that helped you figure this out.

Hey Daniel! Amazing videos as always. I have a translucent vinyl plexi backlit idea and had some questions. Did you order the plexi precut? If so where did you order from? And as far as art work goes, do you know of a place i can have print control panel art on translucent vinyl for a full backlit effect?

Hey Daniel, great work on this build! I'm curious how you attached the plexiglass to the control board? I noticed that it sits above the t-molding so I assume it isn't what is holding it? Since the joysticks attach to the bottom, is it just the buttons that hold the plexiglass down, or something else? Thanks for the tips, you are an inspiration to the whole community!

Really great 2 part video but I did not get why you have it switching between hyperopia and thruster computer won't the games work using the hyperspin??
@TheDanielSpies_Arcades
@TheDanielSpies_Arcades 2 жыл бұрын
Hi David, sure you can play ALL games on Hyperspin. But this is software emulated and therefore not as 'authentic' as the real thing. FPGA is based on hardware emulation and has (almost) no lag, original sound quality and so on. So I switch to another computer (FPGA in this case) INSIDE of Hyperspin. Best of both Worlds so to say ;-)

An analog stick can function as a stick (not D-pad) on a PS or Xbox controller. The mini grip stick just has 4 ‘on off switches’ which is like s D-Pad controller. 🎮

Great job on your cabinets, but why don't you make a real tutorial with steps by steps instructions and also list all the items and parts you use, with links to places where we can buy them. otherwise... this is good for inspirational purpose only, but we can not use it to build our own cabinets. Even if you sale the tutorial... if you don't want to share it for free.

This cabinet is indeed for enthusiasts and meant as source for inspiration. This would be too complex for a tutorial. I am already receiving many many building questions each day by mail. Will be flooded when I make a build guide for this. So this is not possible. 😅 But, I am thinking of making a tutorial in a few months for a (basic)full size cabinet 👍🏽 thanks D
