I don’t mind if the reach storyline isn’t in season 2 but I think Daeron not being in season 2 at all would be a huge mistake imo, there’s already gonna be a audience whiplash when he’s introduced due to 0 real mentions of him in season 1 the sooner he’s introduced the better. Plus no scenes of Daeron with his family would be such a huge mistake.

I'm surprised, it seems the story is moving slower than I expected. That's great, but at least I can hope the characters like Daeron will be introduced properly when the time comes.🎉

If there's nothing for Daeron, I have to assume that the show is moving slower. Conflict in the Riverlands and Crownlands to start as Otto pushes for caution all season. Then come Season 3, the Hightower Host rallies, the Lannisters enter the Riverlands, the King's Army heads for Harrenhal and the like. Season 3 would be the war in full swing.

Based, on what I've heard, one of the Deleted scenes in season 1 consists of a conversation between Aemond and Otto, where Aemond says, "I wish Daeron was here" (or something like this) and Otto says, "Daeron's place is in Oldtown..." If it's true, it basically confirms that Daeron is in Oldtown, besides GRRM telling us about it...

I don't think Dyana needs to do anything big. We need to have recurring smallfolk characters we care about, who are going to appear season after season (and of course the smallfolk end up playing a big role later). I hope they'll introduce Essie and Sylvenna Sand early (Ellora Torchia could be Sylvenna?). My dream casting for the Shepherd is Christopher Eccleston (and no, I'm not saying that because it would be fun to have another Doctor in the show). Mark Rylance is another one who comes to mind. In any case, I think tehe Shepherdd is the one role that they could cast with a big name actor, who would appear in a limited number of episodes but command the screen, and it could be the material for an Emmy nomination for Guest Actor.

It wouldn't make any sense to have Daeron suddenly appear in Season 2.

Maybe Daeron will be mentioned but not shown till season 3, I don't agree with this decision if it goes down like that .
