A better song to use is probably 'I'm the Greatest Star', also from 'Funny Girl' as it actually uses one of the bridges from 'Don't Rain on my Parade' and isn't as overdone. In my opinion it is also alot more interesting and technical to sing.

Like someone already said you could use greatest star also a great song but honestly if you can preform Don’t rain on my parade well people will be impressed and like it I preformed it at a show last year and it went over very well but it helps if the people your preforming for have nostalgia with the song, musical, or Barbara Streisand. But don’t let anyone stop you if that’s what you wanna do

Mya Der-Stepanian I’ve loved musical theatre since I was a child and had done theatre as well as singing lessons for years. I managed to get better control of my breathing but I still suck at singing. You can’t improve something that’s not there, and believe me, I’d give anything to sing well.

​@Kevin Castellanos I don't even know how to respond to this. I've spent years working on my singing and breathing on a daily basis. Yes, there was improvement, but it's not the same. Some things are just not meant to be, but saying what you did really makes all the hard work people put into their dreams and is unsuccessful seem worthless. I have always had a thing for drawing. Was I good at it since birth? Of course not, but unlike my singing efforts, the hours I put into my art weren't fruitless and now I am studying illustration at university. Does that mean I've worked more on drawing? No. I've worked/am working very hard on both skills. Actually, I formally learned drawing for only a fraction of the time I did with singing. Yes, skills are a thing we develop and need to dedicate our time and effort to doing so, but some things come easier than others. I put so much work into art and there are results. With singing there were none. There are no excuses, it's just what happened. Also don't say "No one comes out of the womb gifted with a beautiful voice", because there are amazingly talented people. Sure, talent will only get them as far as a primary school singing contest and they still need to work on developing their skills, but what I'm saying is it's different for everybody so please don't tell people that their lack of success is their own fault. You don't know how much they've put into it.
