How to re-bind a Honeywell CM927 Thermostat to a BDR91 Wireless Relay Box | TheIntergasShop.co.uk

Richard walks through how to wirelessly pair/bind a Honeywell CMS927B1049 Wireless Room Thermostat to a BDR91A1000 Wireless Relay Box. When these were purchased together in a pack, they were known as a Honeywell CM927.
The same pairing procedure works with both CM921 and CM927. The BDR91 Wireless Relay Box pairing procedure is exactly the same when using a R8810A1018 OpenTherm Bridge or HC60NG/R6660D Wireless Relay Box instead of a BDR91 Wireless Relay Box.
If you have a faulty Honeywell CM721, CM727, CM921 or CM927 room thermostat, you can purchase a Pro Wireless Programmable Thermostat from The Intergas Shop website to replace these models - theintergassho...

Our thermostat disconnected from the boiler even the instructions were not this good! Everything was the opposite way! This was so simple to understand and very clear ...thank you for saving me from replacing the thermostat that's capable of doing its job just the instructions I had were completely incorrect...thank you again 😊

Thank you Richard, we have been having real problems with our unit since coming back from holiday. The house temperature has not gone below 21 degrees for three days. In fact the temperature on our return was 24.5 . We had set the holiday mode to 12 *!? In fact even turning the boiler off didn’t make any difference.So let’s hope that this is all fixed now or a plumber is needed. Thanks again. Andrew

I just successfully paired a 2nd receiver. So I can now have an electric radiator coming on when the rest of the heating comes on! Very handy in the kitchen where there is no easy way to plumb a normal radiator.

Thank you thank you thank you! We have a 'CENTER' room thermostat which I couldn't find anything about. But I stumbled across your video and thought the controls on the Honeywell looked very similar though not totally identical, but near enough to try. It worked. So if anyone has a "CENTER EHE0200361 Programmable Room Thermostat" that has lost its binding to the base set (causing a red flashing light on the receiver at the boiler end) then just follow the instructions in this video. Just use a little common sense to recognize the slight difference in the appearance of the buttons on the CENTER remote thermostat. Thank you again!!

Hi Richard, I am not able to get the thermostat to go into the binding mode as much as I press. I changed the batteries and it is still not happening. The slider is off. I followed the instructions

You need to confirm all the buttons you need to press in the video are working. If they are and the slider is 100% in the 'off' position then the product may need to be replaced if it won't go into bind mode. This thermostat is a good replacement and will pair with any existing BDR91 - theintergasshop.co.uk/home/99-cms927-7-day-wireless-programmable-room-thermostat-cms927b1049.html

Hi Richard I used this video a few times before on my centre controller no problem,this time my controller will work manually but when I set the time it does not work,I have temp set to 21 starting temp in room 18,can’t understand why,any help I’d be very grateful thanks

Might not be the thermostat if the relay box is turned off (green light off). Possibly another component failed?

What is the relay attached to? A green light plus relay clicking normally indicates that the BRR91 is fine? It could be something else faulty or maybe the relay itself. Hi there, I have this unit, and I am trying to bind to my control unit, which isn't exactly the same as the one in your video ( I don't know/can't see an identifying no.) On pressing the up and down buttons along with the left button, nothing on my display changes. Can you suggest a cause of this, and a possible remedy? Thanks for an informative video.

The thermostat is the only thing you can control the heating system with. The relay box with the green light responds to the demands of the thermostat and you shouldn’t have to touch this unless the thermostat breaks.

Hi Richard, I have a honeywell CM61ng been fine for 20yrs but discovered it doesn't like red wine lol. Got one from ebay and followed instructions for CM927 until got to 'ok' button that I don't have, HELP please

I’ve done this now and it’s put my heating back on but one light on the receiver is steady green and the light below it is flashing red any advice? Honeywell cm921

Did you 100% press and hold the button for a full 15+ seconds initially? If not, it could be indicating you have filled up the 4x memory slots (i.e. bound the thermostat to the BDR91 four times). Give Resideo technical support on 0300 130 1299 if you require further support.

Is the slider 100% in the ‘OFF’ position? The 3 button press won’t work unless it is.

No idea sorry Gemma. Only reason the temperature should change is if it’s programmed to do this. Possibly faulty?

My Honeywell 927 room thermostat screen shows broken numbers and not responding to timings. The clock keeps bad timing and the settings jump from eg 17 to 19 ( not displaying 18) . It is quite old ,so is it irreparable ?

As long as the thermostat is a CM921/CM921 and the slider is off it should work, unless of course the thermostat is faulty?

Unfortunately, the video only shows how to bind them back together. If there are further problems, maybe see if turning the power off to the BDR91 for 5 minutes and back on helps?

If the product is fully functional and you follow the video correctly it should work. If the product is faulty or you don’t follow the video correctly then it won’t work I’m afraid.

Unfortunately not. The T3 Series, uses a different RF protocol to the CM927. The only compatible thermostat for a BDR91A we know of is this one - theintergasshop.co.uk/home/99-cms927-7-day-wireless-programmable-room-thermostat-cms927b1049.html
