I had no clue about any of this. I’ve always assumed anyone with a huge Birkin collection had high end replicas/super fakes. If they are made in limited quantity, how do you have 900? Lol. Sadly, it’s all a part of flex culture. Great video. Thanks for sharing 😊

Some of the wealthiest people will buy fakes, they don't want to spend that kind of money after all that is how they got rich by not wasting their money. it's the same with the resale market , it's not the illegal resellers who are selling the most it is the wealthy who are buying and reselling to make a huge profit.

As a hairstylist I am having problems with clients buying professional haircare off amazon and then complaining about performance, the products they bought were counterfeit but trying to explain amazon is full of fake skincare, haircare, perfume etc is getting tiresome. Always buy from a reputable source! You don't know what you're getting buying from a third party site. I do genuinely believe alot of people will buy a fake off pre loved sites and think its real though so wouldn't judge someone if I saw a fake in the street as they probably don't know they're carrying a fake.

@Caleb Snell it's a nightmare honestly i advise all my clients no skincare, perfume, haircare, bodycare, candles, food or supplements off there. In France they actually have a counterfeit museum called musèe de contrefaçon and they literally have branded food items that are fakes... super scary. Thankyou hope you also had a great weekend.

If u have any bags I can take a look and send you them, than you can coordinate with sellers. Even the Balenciaga city bags (no shade if youre still collecting that range) have always been around 300 ish canadian. Love that bag for youu so much. Need that colour in a travel bag

Great video! Fakes are contributing to so much underworld, illegal stuff. And from what I’ve seen, they still cost about $500 plus….I would rather save up and use that $500 towards genuine craftsmanship.

Whilst a mistake could be made about one person, I am 1000% sure that the reportage about fake bags is correct in the 'big picture'. You can fool the world, but you can never fool yourself - is where I stand on this topic. It's none of my business, but I don't really understand why other people love to buy fake stuff. To brag even knowing they can't afford it? It's embarrassing, especially if someone blunt enough to point it out in your face. I admire more a person who has 1 real bag than those who have 100 but full of fakes.

Caleb love the into. The tea is hot. I like the Fendi it is elegantly. It so scary anymore with all these fakes. I went to a flea market. I couldn’t believe this one both and all the fakes they had even down to some designer ink pens. To sun glasses. One I seen was a fake coach bag. I said really Coach is the most attainable designer. I told this one lady. I said honey what they are asking. go to the outlet you can get a real one cheaper. Of coarse I got the stank eye from the guy at the booth. Did not know you had a channel until Dacob said last night on the livestream. My mum got a fake dyson hairdryer from Amazon.She was 😡 Fakes are everywhere. Im really enjoying the birkin slayers stories. The slayer is savage 😂 These people pretending they’re buying all this luxury stuff constantly isnt good for society & peoples mental health. If you really want to understand what the uproar is about, start with these and make your own opinion and actions. As far as fakebirkinslayer, they've got us talking and maybe making a mess for the influencers and rich is an option to get action. I know I'm no fun!

Yeah, we work hard for the real thing. I did just take delivery on my Louis Vuitton Monogram Multicolor Lodge GM Black from Fashionphile. Perfect for my lifestyle and looks almost new. Very pleased 😄

This was interesting. I haven't heard of this person before. I think I am pretty indifferent about them doing this....basically because, people don't have to look at it. It really doesn't interest me. I think because as far as bags. I just know what I have is real and I try to make sure who I watch is the same. Probably why I don't have a huge amount of people I watch. I like to watch people I feel like I could trust....

I think most influencers who had more than a couple quota bags I think are suspect, especially if they are getting multiple quota bags in a short time frame. I do think anyone who puts stuff online for public consumption are fair game. And I do think it helps put the “journey” into perspective.

The people with money will be rocking fakes and convince you to save up for years for the real thing. I was on Reddit rep-ladies platform people would brag about which super fake was the best. I honestly side eye every influencer after being on that platform.

Man it was very entertaining while it lasted they outed a lot of influencers too lmao. I’m sure the birkin slayer is probably an old rep lady or man. Trust me when I tell you it opened my eyes. If the people making 300k + are buying fakes and people making 50k + are saving up several years for a Chanel bag. I honestly feel I’d rather spend my hard earn money on experience rather than stuff !!

I love the look of the birkin and kelly bags, but will never pay the price. My solution was to find the style but without any logos but made with actual leather materials. I have a “birkin” I purchased made of vegetable tanned leather, no Hermes markings but very clearly great quality. Also a “kelly” made of the same great leather. For me it’s just the shape and way the bag opens and closes, that I love. Not trying to fool anyone. If you notice all designers are inspired by the designs of other designers, they do the exact same thing. Case in point the Ralph Lauren satchel bag that mimics the birkin style…the mulberry…I don’t see anything wrong with that:)

Do you honestly think that these companies that utilize capitalism are also ethical and they’re not affecting the environment? Both are equally as bad, and I would actually argue that the ones that are funding a capitalist society that promotes over consumerism and creates a society that’s unaware of the global impact that these multi billionaire companies create is worse than the propaganda that they spread, so they can keep profiting off of a capital market.

The thing most ppl don’t wanna think about is the handbag market is only the tip of the iceberg. EVERYTHING popular is counterfeit & readily available… Buying a $10 apple watch band on amazon instead of the $99 apple band is buying counterfeit goods! Hauls from places like Amazon, Shein, & even F21 or H&M are full of designs w/ obscure branding copied from smaller brand releases. We should consider how ethical EVERY purchase is & if it aligns with what we stand for!
