Bang Bang Shrimp ~ A Great Game Day Appetizer or Snack

Bang Bang Shrimp
1/2 cup mayo
1/4 cup Thai Chili sauce
1/3 to 1 tsp of Siracha Sauce
Soak shrimp in buttermilk, Drain and then bread with corn starch. (you can add a little SR Flour if you want.)
Fry shrimp until they float, approximately 5 minutes

In my own opinion I would not put crispy fried shrimp on a wet lettuce bed. It will soften the crispy shrimp. Leslie, I liked your idea of doing it over at Caroline's. Glad y'all got together for a party. Family is so precious. I miss my parents and 2 older brothers that I've lost. God Bless y'all.

It’s the corn starch. It looks like tempura. You can do it with veggies also. Like carrots, zucchini, green beans. Delish! I love watching Bryant cook. He’s very descriptive! Lol! Love his presentation! Looks like a fun and safe party for New Year! Thanks Leslie and Bryant 🎉🦐🍤🦐🍤

Miss Leslie I made the Bang Bang Shrimp and my son and daughter-in-law came over to eat with me. Unfortunately I've been sick and I cannot taste or smell so I was not able to enjoy them but my son and daughter-in-law said they were delicious. I will be trying this again when I can smell and taste because it looked delicious. Thanks for sharing your knowledge of cooking with us

Ohhhh My … that shrimp look so good. I will have to go to the store and get stuff to make that. I loved the crunchy sound. Also I wanted to let you know that I received my boots from Drycode, wore them today out on the kill floor and they were so comfortable feet stayed dry and warm. Love the recipe looks good going to try it...One thing though wash your lettuce before using. Iceberg head lettuce is not prewashed it has chemicals, you name it on it.

Happy Tuesday, sweet friends. Another great recipe. Wish I could eat spicy and fried foods. I love shrimp but can't eat spicy or fried foods. Spicy foods and fried foods cause my Crohn's to flare up. I'll fix this, omit the spice and air fry the shrimp.

Shrimp looks great I am not a good fryer of food but I was never taught how but it sure looks delicious I couldn’t eat the Siracha sauce though Bryant does a good job

Love your music and lead in on your videos. I would go to Applebees in Concord, NH and always ordered this but it was served on a bed of cabbage instead of lettuce. It was my favorite until they discontinued it from their menu. Now I don’t eat there any more. I am going to try your recipe to see if it stands up to the test. Thank you.

I have seen this exact recipe done where the shrimp was soaked in the bang bang sauce instead of buttermilk and then it is dredged in the corn starch and fried and served with fresh bang bang sauce.

This looks delicious but I am not able to eat spicy food due to the fact I've got acid reflux. Maybe I could use another type sauce. I will research that. I worked on my Dad's shrimp boat in my twenties. So I love me some shrimps
