Why the hell did the fiancé leave his girlfriend at a home 4am in the morning with persons they just meet at a bar the night before . Secondly why would the woman leave a strange young lady in her apartment with her lover , instead of giving her a ride home when she was leaving that morning .

Its not a big deal when you are with each other a long time. You trust each other and you do still have your own lives. Both me and prior GF's have left a party before you are with friends its no big deal. This chick obviously though had a secret, she wasn't as good of a girl as she appeared, and she was a cheater. Can we take a moment to acknowledge how brave and what a hero Heidi is....especially considering what a young girl she was. I can’t imagine how terrifying and overwhelming it must have been for her to testify, unable to be even certain that he would be found guilty. I hope she finds some comfort in knowing that she has no doubt saved many women from a similar terrible fate. Kudos

This episode ONCE AGAIN emphasises the ENORMOUS amount of detective work involved in bringing murderers to justice. I particularly have deep respect for cold-case cops who are able to solve cases after years of patient, plodding, detailed, frustrating work involving countless dead-ends. 👏 Bear in mind that this happened in 1987 when modern Forensics was just starting out. This made the FBI's work infinitely harder.

They should take the monsters at the planned parenthood and abortionist clinics too off your society. You know, they are committing murders too. That these monsters are being left free shows the kind of double standards operating in society. Law enforcement agents would be taken more seriously and with more respect should they start treating abortion as the murder it is, a murder most often fuelled by selfishness.

This is one of the strangest crimes. The data base entry was not done correctly big mistake. Leaving her friend with the bloke, by telling a lie and does not return for 24hrs. Like there is one thing after the other happening that helped the murderer to achieve his goal. Takes a long time to charge someone with murder. They hold people like Julain Assange for less. It is comical if it was not so serious. All the stuffing around is just crazy.

Heidi did exactely what I did to survive a comparable situation. Give the feeling, that you are not really dangerous to the perpetrator. Otherwise you have a "good" chance they kill you. I "met" R. Cotti...in New Jersey in 1979, hitchhiking out of N.Y.. I knew from the beginning, one false reaction and I am dead. Now he is sitting in jail as one of the worst serial killers. I think there is only one other women who had survived this devil. Strange, as soon as I sat in his car, I knew it was a mistake and I could not come out anymore. I knew it one second too late.

When God asked Adam what he thought of Eve, Adam asked why Eve was so soft. God said "so you'd be attracted to her". Then Adam asked why Eve was so pretty. Again God answers,"So you'd be attracted to her". Thinking this makes sense, Adam asked one last question, "why did you make her so dumb?"And God, laughing, replies,"So she'd be attracted to you"... And that is the extent of my religious knowledge 😁

Wowww. That’s how law enforcement works. I can’t recall seeing a restless case like this. I would point out numerous nonsense procedure took by the agents at the time of the occurrence but whatever... Despite the needing to place him at such significance status and then the most wanted list, police at least at last got him.

They need to search the Wells for Wendy. Her best friend went to a psychic in 2000 as final desperate attempt. and she said she was in a well. (not that its super believable.) But my mom became friends with her in like 2009 and helped look to find any possible wells in bellingham. And they dug deep and found one that seemed strange. apartment buildings were built around this house that had a well. And the DAY BEFORE they went to go check it in person, after had did all the research very discreetly to themselves, my mom was out shopping in a town 40 minutes away at safeway, and one of her old close friends went up to whisper to her that she needed to give up on digging into that well or she would find herself in the well herself. She was shocked that anyone even knew what she was up to or knew about searching for a well, and she asked him how he knew, and he said this one stranger guy gave him the threat to pass onto her. The Psychic may have had a lucky guess or whatever you wanna believe, one super flaky source, but getting a threat like that....suddenly makes it more strong. Wells need to be looked into. I'm guessing he actually refused to talk about the unfound girls because maybe someone Darren knew was involved and he was protecting them from getting caught. I dont know why else someone would feel so attached to covering up this murder for a guy that will never see his freedom anyway. I think they were protecting themselves. It's been a decade since then so who knows if the land and well is still even there or the owner finally caved and sold it. I'm trying to ask around since I live here. Since my mom was never familiar with this town and has since then forgot where it was. Hopefully I'll find out something and find this well she got a threat over.

That's called victim blaming. If I'm drunk and naked passed out, then it isn't your Right to hurt me. It's your responsibility to call for help or ask someone else to. At the very least mind your business. Fortunately I don't drink. But I'd be a real POS to blame someone for something someone else did to them.
