Used on barb wire and hot wire fencing. 18:00 rigging cable or tow cable when new has greasy coating on it 22:28 old car tire 1930's maybe

Hey bro some great finds but the item you're referring to as a flat head screwdriver that fits into a handle or drill it's not it's actually a cold chisel you would use on trying to break away other metals that are cracked or attached that you want to remove all it needs is a cleaning but that's definitely a good thing to have in the toolbox

14:10 fence post for lightweight fencing. The weird plate on the one end goes into the ground to keep it steady. 17:55 that's the cable that is used for the big signs on the road.

That tool you called a screw driver is not a screw driver. It's a cold chisel that goes into a pneumatic tool for cutting, like exhaust pipes and thin metal.

And usually those sockets are car specific. These days alot of sedans have "lock key" lugnuts on one rotor bolt per tire to prevent theft

8:11 It is a chisel, one can use it with a hammer to make marks and loosen nuts and bolts or open up spotwelded plates and so, or crack things in two or something one finds it useful for. Made of hardened steel, sharpen and clean it and you get a useful piece of tool here :) 10:02 Flashlight from 60's 70's, the metal ones is often older than the plastic ones, China still make the metal ones, not Everready branded. Everready is a battery brand, 2 pcs of D cell batteries fits this flashlight. Wash it with lemon juice or something like coca cola perhaps.. shake it and let it stand there, it is acidic so it loosen up rust. Slowly, dont expect those things to work that fast. You can make it work perhaps.. if it is still useful that is, it may be too corroded.. i bet the switch is the worst to get to work again but you can in theory make a new switch. And doing something similar to what i did. I still got a 4x D cell flashlight that is modified with a modern LED multivoltage flashlight bulb that fits right into the stock original incadescent bulb socket. Make sure you get something that works with 3 volt becourse this flashlight with 2x D cell batteries has 3 volt. I did use D cell to AA cell adapters so i can put 3 AA Eneloop batteries in each D cell adapter, so it has 12 AA Eneloop batteries, it does last a long time :) I Like to mix old stuff with modern technology :) You get those things on Ebay.

Top for wrought iron fence. 2nd item, good question. I never saw something like that. Hinge after that pipe. Bicycle #1, knowing you and that bridge you're gonna find several. WOW, that nut and bolt combo is huge. Bolt but not a screw driver, it's a chisel for a small jack hammer. EverReady Flashlight, circa 1980's (can tell by the switch). T-Post, they are made by heating then extruding old railroad tracks, so there is a lot of metal in them. Metal cable for pulling heavy objects. Old make-up kit, at least 40 yrs old. UNGH, you caught a tire. I have a ton of those in the caliche pit left by who knows how many people illegally dumping. Tractor tires I know who did those, previous farmers for the land, but vehicle tires...

your going to have to set up a beach umbrella to stand under when the temps get that hot...but I think your go pro may be thankful you did as well !!! they don't like extreme cold temps either. a few years back I was taking pictures of my kids sliding in the snow and it would fog up like it was saying "nope not today take me back in right NOW !!! electronics and finiky things, well at least isn't raining bukcets !!! but hey, an umbrella would be good for that to 🤭🌞

That flashlight probably came from the 1980s up until the early 2000s. Also, that huge "bolt" appears to have come from an old Truss Bridge. That thing you called a "T" Post is just a fence post for a field fence (the "T" part goes in the ground to hold it in place).

Union carbide was a company in Bennington Vermont. They made batteries. They later changed names to Energizer which has sense closed.

At the 4:45 mark, that is an old spring-loaded hinge. At 8:25, that is a "cold chisel" - used for breaking concrete/stone. Yes, that flashlight is an "Ever-Ready" - pretty good flashlights, in their day.

10:30 Yeah, "EverReady" batteries were an American staple for the longest time; their parent company was Union Carbide. Nowadays we know them as the manufacturer of Energizer-brand batteries.
