Every time he Tarantino makes a movie, you just want to hang out with all of his characters and soak in every word they say because you like them so much. And it often doesn’t matter where they’re going or what they’re doing… You just want to be there. I don’t know of another director that has done something on this level before, in such a consistent way.

Honest review. I love how everybody bitching about the run time at 2:41 when nobody bats an eye for 3:02 for Endgame, multiple show watching too. It's an art house comedy/fantasy and the movie showed a timeline of the days leading up to that horrific day. That time was meant to show how sweet Sharon was & how wacky the Manson family was.

Watched this last evening at my local movie theater, and wow, I was totally blown away by how Tarantino managed to capture the late 60s era. Yes, I agree, this movie is very tiring near the second act ; the first and third act are the only ones worth watching . Great acting - Brad Pitt, for example, killed the role of portraying as stuntman - and some cool scenery shots. However, as some stated, I don't think this is his best film. I don't hate the film nor see it awful. In my opinion, it is one of the better films to watch in 2019. I also think this film is sided with Django Unchained, Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, & Inglorious Bastards. This is my perspective

The more I learn about the actual history of this time and the Manson family makes me love this movie even more because there’s a lot of small details that lead to the ending based off the original characters and the motives of the real life people. And as an actor, I thought a lot of the little stuff Leo was doing throughout the 2nd act was hilarious. Even the most subtle things because it was like I’m an acting class with him during a final.

The whole theatre was laughing when Rick was breaking down in his trailer. I thought it was supposed to be more of an emotional scene not a funny one...

@Samuel Wallace Tarantino and DiCaprio intended that to be funny. Dalton wasn't a super serious character. They show him breaking down throughout the movie, not intended to be overly serious.

I saw it opening night, the late show, 11:00 pm, theater half full. I burst out laughing during the Bruce Lee scene, otherwise you could have heard a pin drop the rest of the movie. No one laughing at inappropriate times, I appreciated that.

The beauty of many such scenes was that they have both feelings in them. Like when I saw the movie the first time,I was laughing during that trailer breakdown scene or the Easy Breezy scene. But when I watched for the second time,I felt completely different. I felt was about those two scenes. Both the scenes and almost many such scenes have a bitter sweet feeling to it which can be looked from different perspectives and make sense from each of the point of views. This is weaved and done so beautifully throughout the film unlike in any of his films. That's why this film is a bit different from his other films and once you accept that it becomes such an enriching experience.

For one thing, Tarantino's movies haven't been the same since his go to editor died-Sally Menke. But, I'm definitely checking this out.

For those that have seen it, I know kurt Russell does most of the narration but one brief scene sounds like QT,. Is QT starting in this movie as that quick narration or any other way?

just gonna say it. I saw it last night with my friends and we loved every second. Especially the last the 30 minutes.

I think I'd have to go with inglorious bastards. Christopher Waltz and Brad Pit were so good and the way tension was built was amazing.

I've seen the movie three times already. Looking for said flaws, I can't find any. Don't understand how a generation of "Bingewatchers" who watch 40 hours of low production programming in a weekend can complain about a 2 hour and 45-minute movie of excellence and then complain "its too long" How can you complain of getting value for your money?
