I never liked Westbrook but seeing him sacrifice every time he is asked while the others aren't really asked and always having his name drug through the mud. I've grown a lot of respect for him. He could blow up and go after many different people and be justified but he doesn't and you have to respect that. George to Orlando would make them a top 2 team in the East with Boston and with their depth off the bench and still very movable contracts they could get better without having to sacrifice so much that it would be detrimental to the team like we have seen teams like the 76ers, Bucks,Brooklyn,Suns,both LA teams. A healthy clippers blowing 3-1 lead to nuggets, then not being healthy 4 straight years and bounced early each year. This Clippers roster is like a stagnation, it could only get worse next season if no change. Keep James Harden, sign/trade PG13 for some drafts and young blood. We can do nothing about Kawhi anyways, just let him be. The best scenario would be let him play limited games in regular season and try to keep him healthy till the second round of playoffs. Let him opt in and trade him or let him walk. We’ve seen repeatedly how addition by subtraction is a thing. He’s a name that’s not worth the max at this point in his career and same for Harden. Kawai definitely didn’t deserve that extension but maybe they prefer a big name from 5-10 years ago to a competitive roster. Makes sense given it takes time to build a deep competitive roster.

Clips should play KL one game per month and if they make it to PO, play him 3 mins max per quarter unless he strains his thumb which causes him to no longer be able to play for the rest of their games. This way he will be healthy for next year.

Clippers messed themselves by re-signing Kawhi. They could've started the rebuild NOW but I just can't imagine anyone wanting to take on Kawhi's 3 years 150 million. That might be a huge pill to swallow. They could always sign and trade Paul George and/or let Harden walk. They need to get back first rounders back.

I would happiest if next year Kawhi was the oldest Clipper, not the average age Clipper. We can't win with 5 players 33-38 on the floor. Whatever we have to do to get younger and more athletic.

The Clippers have three stars who can't seem to all get healthy at the same time. It would actually be in PG and Harden's best interest to sign elsewhere for next season. I just don't see the Clippers being legitimate contenders next season without retooling and they won't be able to sign anyone good or make a meaningful trade.
