Why not add this to the base game upon release as a alpha mode in development that will continue to see changes, while the base game is polished. Like a fun side mode to play when the base game gets boring. Its the same exact game except with a player controlled horde..

I'm happy to give them twenty dollars more if it looks fun. That said, It does not look fun yet, so they can't have my money. Bottom line, If people don't want the mod/dlc/totally new and original game, then they shouldn't give them money. They'll go away if people stop paying them for their work and commenting on their videos. As for the folks saying their assets suck/are generic...if it's so easy to make a game that sells millions of copies, go do it, then you'll be rich enough to spend money on a lame game without complaining about it.

@@Sniperghost48 Unfortunately the console version was Teltale games and when they went under they took that with them and never gave it back to TFP. They can't do anything to the console port of the game as it isn't theirs anymore. This is why they're making console players buy the updated version of the game because they can't touch the one Teltale put out. That being said it isn't console players fault for having a studio shut down and steal IP. The cost shouldn't come back onto the players who purchased it already. This does clearly look like a cash grab to me and I am disappointed. Also, the nerve of releasing trailers for a "new game" (lmao) when 7 Days has been in alpha for a decade and still hasn't been released as a 1.0 is astoundingly insulting in the grand scheme of things. As much as I like to support TFP they deserve to be mocked for this. As much as I love 7 Days I wouldn't trust this dev team with shit after how this has all gone down. lol

@@Donkerbb The memory leak is insane on long running worlds. It starts off fine, but the performance hucks itself off a cliff after an hour of play. Eventually a world gets so bad that it just stays at 15fps or lower. Thats when I call that run complete because I can't stand it.

@@SirMcMuffin Yea for sure! That sounds exactly like mine & my groups experience. I love this game don't get me wrong..but i do hope that optimizing is very high on their priority list. After all can't enjoy the game to it's full potential if you can't play it comfortably to begin with :/

I just find it hilarious how I feel like from a marketing standpoint it’d be way more smart to add this entire game into regular 7days… look at how successful Fortnite is as much as that game is ass to most people I at least respect their business model. @@Michadr its not made by them, putting this into there game would put more chefs in the kitchen and disrupt there progress to 1.0.. this is going in a diff direction with multiple game modes TFP couldnt put into there game without complications. i guess its just easier to work on there game and let this team do the more stylized game modes, they can format for this style easier if there separate.

On xbox it runs great. The only thing is that it crashes time to time. But overall the game looks pretty great, has a variety of things to do, and runs pretty great on xbox despite it being in the 2017 version

@@caiden-_- crashing from time to time means it infact doesnt run great 😅 i have this on pc and even at max settings it looks like it runs on the renderware engine and its full of so many bugs and jank.. How its managed to get away with being in early access for 13 years is beyond me.. Like the last time i remember really seeing this game relevant was back when Hyper and Spiderbite from Next Gen Tactics were playing it haha

I also haven't experienced many bugs on xbox other than my bag didsapearing once making me lose all my stuff, and my friend had his base reset meaning he lost all of his.
