Can I just say that I love the role that Mo has naturally been playing lately?? He intuitively steps in and knows how to be a representative of the audience in the room and the ones viewing on screen. I’m sure it’s because he’s been in that very position himself early on with Chris (needing more clarity than was given), so he’s able to empathize and really help dig & search for clarity on a very basic level. His efforts really elevate this already insightful experience so much more! So thank you, Mo! Thank you, Chris! ❤

I’ll say it for you. I love the role that Mo has naturally been playing lately. It seems like he has earned the Chris Do seal to have been in the team this long. He is a great learner. He opened with a great question to broaden Chris Do’s answer. He is strategic on waiting for that “banger” question.

Following this channel for years. What I’m really missing here is knowledge on how to actually plan, execute and deliver. So much about winning client and raise your fee, but not so much how to work in a team, what roles, responsibilities and expectations there are and how solve the client problem in practice. It’s more about how to solve your own problem on how to charge more

I think its good to see the project pipeline again. Especially with AI now, there's a new workflow that we aren't used to. Before I had to delegate the starting copy, stock photos & design tasks, but as we get more advanced with creative AI, I find myself being able to get more done by myself before I do any sort of handoff. @@thefutur most of my "Mood Boards" now are CHATGPT Convos. It's a very interesting time.

@@thefutur happy to have your attention! Extending my initial comment a bit: Business, our clients, usually have systems in place on how they run things. They wanna know if you’re able to plug-in to their workflow to trust you with your project. there is gap I’m experiencing, not only on your channel but on many others as well. That is how to plug in whatever role and expertise you have to the team of your client on the other side of the table. What are conventions? What is made up uniquely for the project? Who sets up what protocols? Who will manage different parts of the project? When is that discussion had with the client? How do you estimate cost and timelines? Is this a client I should be working with? These are not directly financial or transactional questions, rather they’re universal for any collaboration where skilled minds gather to execute an idea.

Thanks for sharing this bootcamp series. This session and references to skill acquisition in basketball and also the process of mastery really resonated. I try to help local business owners here in Australia realize success is a journey, and each skill needed is a piece in a jigsaw puzzle. From my experience very few people are mastering their game, they are just playing the game. It's those who treat what they do as a process of mastery that have long term success. Chris is truly a master of his game. Thanks for sharing such wisdom with the world.

Summary/recap: 1. Have a proven process that's predicable can generate leads 2. You need to control the amount of product or services that you can sell 3. You need to communicate in a clear, transparent and honest manner 4. You need to be working on building authority in your space 5. Make your own list, grade your own list, and start attacking it 6. Have the discipline to pick the thing that's going to work, not the thing that you like 7. If you're not sure, ask a partner or mentor

How much of a role does ones authority plays for the " Supply Demand Tension' to really pay dividends? My theory behind the question... My authority in my field generates the demand for anyone to sign up for my service. If I do not therefore have the authority, how do I generate the demand to leverage the supply demand tension?

@@jo69123the people whom you are reaching out to in your email lists, are not aware they need it. Which is that they're not aware of the problem, your value/product or service as a solution provides for them. Which is the benefits of buying and having your value/product/service. What it will help achieve, accomplish,reach,attend... the personal goals, wants they wants to accomplish, but they're having challenges that's stopping them from doing so. That your value/product/service helps them on or serves them with or save them from. See the value of your product or service or what you do or selling from the view and perspective of the buyer/customer. He is the one that wants,or needs and what he lacks, that is holding or stopping him,is what you're offering him. The customer/the market determines value.

@@jo69123 I believe your issue is that what you are doing others are also doing. Which just makes you 'another one'. There is nothing in your offer or approach that stands out. You are trying to sell design while your client might have a whole different problem they want to solve. How does your design work solve their business problem? Once you can answer that question you will be able to get their attention. And even before this make sure you pick a focus/niche with a problem you have the solution to. Its easier to make them an offer.

Honestly, long queues turn me off. Restaurants and shops with long queues are inconvenient. As soon as I see long queues outside of a restaurant or shop, I'll instantly turn and walk the other way. Perhaps there are ways to create that valued perception without compromising convenience for customers.

If something is valuable to you and worth it people will wait. Or pay even more not to wait, it all depends on how important that thing is to you and how bad do you want it. For some a long line is not worth it and that's okay, that's how you can weed out customers that are not the right fit.
