The recurring dream thing in KH always gives me the itch of wanting them to use Tidus and Jecht somewhere in there since they are basically dream made characters. It would be fun since Tidus was adjusted to be in the same age group as Sora.

@@the2401 6 years. It was announced in 2013 and was released in 2019. They had to completely change engines at some point and had to completely start from scratch. Switching engines was a very crucial choice and it made KH3 absolutely stunning but it definitely set back the time. Since then it's kinda been a running gag in the fandom that the next KH game is gonna be released in 2038 or something like that. Which really annoys me at this point.

He's been very open about the fact that he usually makes things up as he goes along and the Kingdom Hearts original cast started off small and became quite large. There's a guideline about writing that states that you need to be careful when juggling a large number of characters, otherwise the cast can feel quite bloated.

Xenomorph would honestly be the perfect secret boss. A full world might push it, since any storyline involving one has to get gruesome, but just a fight in a Giger-inspired arena actually fits right into Kingdom Hearts. And Alien has history with Disney in a few different park attractions. I also got the same takeaway that all the worlds will by live-action. I hope we see a few live action characters outside of their worlds too, like Mary Poppins, Giselle or Dr. Strange in Quadratum. Or Roger and Jessica Rabbit as the only toons in town.

Me too. The way Nomura speaks in this interview, even though he confirms there will of course be Disney worlds, I don't feel like he's as attached to the concept anymore. The original worlds are almost always the best, and I think Disney can be represented in other ways besides setting. I think a KH that fully plunges you into its own unique aesthetic, with worlds like nothing you've ever seen before, would be mindblowing.

FFXV only turned out that way after Tabata took over

With every kingdom hearts game we pretty much had a decent amount of final fantasy characters and they fit in so well and for 3 to have little to known till remind really felt off I hope they revert this and bring them back into the franchise

It really isn't as hard as Disney characters. Dissidia exists and shows FF characters have no difficulty fitting in. Cloud fit in with Olympus and so did Auron. It is just knowledge.

However, Clouds mind still hasn't integrated with his past selves mind; which is why there aren't really any signs that this has happened to Cloud.
