What you mean by broke it? Just installed this kickstand and having issues with the kickstand switch with the new stand also the stock one now

If you look at my MT07 adv series we can see how I extended the kickstand on that. One of the tricky things you’ll run into is it makes the kickstand heavier and the spring will be too soft. We ended up remaking the spring attachment point a bit further down. Not really ideal to just stretch a too weak spring to make it work. Also it ended up bending a bit and we had to fix it. That’s in the videos towards the end of the series. So you can modify them but going longer is a can of worms.

@@TheGardenSnake I remember seeing some of those issues you dealt with on that stand. I may need to rethink this. I was honestly a little sketched out by an adjustable stand and question how sturdy it is. You seem to suggest it's beefy in your video. Thank you for the feedback

@@aaronbehindbars metal is tough. after you get mud on it you will need to be sure that pin is fully seated. it would be nice to have a pin + cotter that went all the way through.

@@TheGardenSnake Side note, I'll have to see ifI can find one of these kickstand for a 91 CBR. Been holding on to this thing for way too long 😂 Previous owner knocked it over in the garage and I think it must've bent where it mounts cause now the bike stands up almost vertical

Well the front has two rotors. I guess I could take one off. The rear is a 5.5 inch rim, that’s not gonna fit. And finally they’re cast so they’ll bend. So probably not doing that 😂. But hey that would be cool if it was possible. I have warp9 wheels here already.

Well thanks for sticking with me over the years. Your issues with my content is two different things so I’ll address them one at a time. The old riding around talking about funny stories and being a hooligan doesn’t really work anymore. No one watches that stuff and KZfaq nerfs it hard. Can’t get sponsors doing that kinda stuff either. So it makes no sense financially. Also I’m 36 years old, married, and have two kids. Can’t keep being a full time hooligan. I’ll still do it from time to time but not 3-4 days a week anymore. Secondly shouting out the patreon for like 30 seconds or so is something you can easily skip past. But patreon pays the bills and is the only reason you see a video at all. KZfaq pays me hardly anything. You’re getting free content from me at the end of the day. If I stop for a minute to promote something that feeds my family and you don’t like that then leave. Sorry to be blunt but I’m not stopping the push for patreon.

Jujimufu and Andrew Camarata have been good channels to rely on in these dark times of Patreon.... amazing how you can say anything you want to casual fans if you have a good nest egg of obsessed ones who pay for behind the scenes kickstand footage.
