Where I disagree with Jessica on most things, she at least keeps the conversation civil with Robbie. I used to skip the segment when Bri would start yelling so I bet I missed some points that I might have actually agreed with. I come here to hear sensible opposing opinions not to listen to someone throwing a childish tantrum and accusing anyone who doesn’t agree with them a bigot.

Hard disagree. I agree with Jessica on most things but with Robby on others (Fauci's recklessness wrt GoFRoC and disingenuousness wrt covid cover-up; transgender youth medicine skepticism). Jessica is gorgeous but insufficiently forceful in presenting her views. She will presumably stick to economic issues and soft-pedal any criticism of Israel's apocalyptic siege of Gaza.

@DonaldJoeKennedy long form upload doesnt get as many clicks. Clips help maximize engagement. Also, they had already been uploading the full show as a podcast which was beneficial because the podcast had fewer ads and was always in chronological order without missing content (youtube took down many vids)

@@Tyler-zs9ilthe long episode literally has fewer clicks than the other videos uploaded today. Also, comments count as engagement and cumulative comments from each clip is usually more than total comments on a long video. Long videos work better for podcasts that are a long conversation, but that is not what rising is at the moment

Ya something seems off with it. American doctors go one way, internal doctors go the other. The international doctors have a more subsidized health care system, while America has private. Are we sure these American doctors don’t have a conflict of interest in their research. If you want TRT and go to a men’s health doctor, you always seem to get the prescription regardless of your age

You should trust the doctors but I would trust international doctors more who don’t run private for profit gender reassignment clinics. That seems like a conflict of interest. We can’t trust pain med clinics, same goes here

One thing that just occurs to me is that both Biden and Trump are looking to be elected to second terms. Meaning that without the concern of facing another election both of them could make some outrageous promises without the concern of needing to keep them.

The left need to realise that Israel Palestine is not going to affect most elections, in almost all national polls it does not register in the top 10 concerns of voters when asked about the election, it is tragic what is happening but most people are going to vote based on their own interests, and even though AIPAC have spent big Bowman was not some unknown politician, he was the incumbent and was a prominent member of the squad, and it looks like Corey Bush also has a good chance of losing her seat, politicians need to remember and focus on issues that directly affect their constituents.

Timestamp 1:04:00 Robby is spot on. The scientific evidence does *not* support irreversible medical and/or surgical interventions for minors who identify as transgender. Transgender Medicine is Big Business. Doctors engaging in it profit from it and therefore have a conflict of interest that needs to be taken into account in any assessment of their opinions. It is as important to be as skeptical of lay gender-affirming advocates as for any other type of advocacy. Jesse Singal is the go-to journalist for this issue, as Robby points out. Singal refers to rigorous, scientific data. He doesn't base his blogs on his own opinions. Jessica is being disingenuous here.
