The Bs came out and crushed Florida in game 1 last year. Then was up 3-1 after back to back road wins I WAS AT. I DOUBT the Bs were confident last year to a team they struggled with in the regular season That series turned around games 5 6 & 7 when Bergy and Krecj came back into the line up.

Dunno if I can agree. I listened on radio, and used the ESPN app. Florida was giving Swayman a pretty hard time. I think I agree with Montgomery afterwards - the game was a lot tougher than the score shows. Could've easily been 3-1 FL after two periods. No call for feeling overly optimistic. The Panthers are pissed now. Still, step 1, win Game 1. Bruins in six.

@@gamingsquad2326 it’s close because I’m the same timeline the rangers had just the king and shesty with a year overlap of georgiev while that same time frame the bruins had those four, it would be crazier if the drafted or developed ulmark instead of trading for him but since he was already a developed goalie I have to say it’s close, both teams are impressive though

everybody beats the leafs in playoffs. Leafs would have to go back to the western conference (like in old days) to have a chance... this year would have been Bruins, then Panthers, then Rangers (likely)... that is a really terrible path to finals.

Let’s be real go back look at all of the Florida Panthers shots. There were six that were rebounds that had there have been a player on the week side. They bury it in Florida wins a laughter what you need to understand is Swayman is very beatable, but Fla needs to get its collective crap together and understand what it was facing, and it crowded the net on its own end and let Bobrowski become a blind man guarding A net.

All this talk about Leaf's choking, all this talk about Bergeron and lack of center... have the bruins proved nothing to anyone? not saying this series is over but I think we need a change in the monologues from a lot of commentators. "Bruins aren't a contender" I have heard countless times. We haven't had a real upset so far in these playoffs, lets see how game two plays out.

Bobrovsky didnt outduel vasilevskiy last round. The panthers got bounces and the bolts didnt. Vasy was the better goalie that series, just didnt get the goal support needed.

I thought for sure the Bruins were gonna be heavily tested in Game 1 after a long 7 game series with Toronto and the Panthers had a lot of rest. Swayman was lights out, the depth scoring shined nicely (shoutout to Carlo for scoring for his newborn son) and special shout out to Lohrei and Brazeau for scoring their first goals of the playoffs!

Bob-o looked like it was his first day on ice. Losing pucks all night, not making it back from behind the net to the crease, bad clears, bad rebounds. The score absolutely reflects Bobrovskys play. In a complete juxtaposition to that, Swayman is probably gonna get Boston to the finals or better.

I’m gonna say this, I never expected the Bruins to win, much less dominate last night. That was absolutely a shocking performance. Probably the Bruins most synchronized game for them in the post season so far. If the Panthers don’t win game 2 I’m thinking this will be a 2nd round sweep.

The shots were not 3 - 0 Florida 2 minutes in. Pasta had the first two shots to start the game. There was some kind of glitch there, and I'm not the only one that noticed it.

I noticed the Witherspoon thing too. For a second I thought they might be related because I'm not a huge fan of either team and I didn't know who the guy was. I just remember I thought Reece was hot in the 90s - and they don't make very good thriller movies anymore because the pacing of movies now is ridiculous. I was really impressed with Swayman. He was terrific.

Considering how many times the Bruins turned the puck over in their own end by just blindly clearing the puck and hoping it worked, it's a minor miracle they won this game. At one point I shouted and swore at the TV, which I rarely do.
