Bro, I live across those mountains, and I have that view every time from my window. Zakopane is beautiful and amazing during Christmas. Bas indian restaurant ki kami hai. Try to travel thru those mountains toward Slovakia you will love it.

Next time I suggest moving a little away from Zakopane and staying in the village of Niedzica and going on a 20 km rafting trip on the Dunajec River to Szczawnica . Visit the wooden church in Dębno (UNESCO monument) . Rent bikes in Nowy Targ at the Decathlon store and take a trip along the Velo Dunajec bicycle route around Lake Czorsztyńskie .

You could at least do Everest Base Camp (EBC) trek at elevation of around 5,300m. Few days of acclimatisation but for with your stamina it would be easy peasy. After EBC highest point on earth.
