Hey! Great video, and thanks for checking out our game! We have a big update coming out at the end of the month where we're shifting our focus to the horror aspects of the game and beginning to reformat the previous maps for tactical gameplay and narrative. Very excited to see more and more people enjoying the project already, and looking forward to seeing how everyone feels as we get deeper and deeper down the rabbit hole of the SCP universe.

I'm pretty sure this game is/was based on a rogue MTF unit who work with the Chaos Insurgency (I think, it might be independently), but I still absolutely love it, I'm excited to see where it goes

When SCP 5000 hit the archives, the story (and what PNEUMA found) stayed with me for a looong time. (btw yossipossi's analysis of SCP 5000 is freaking fantastic). I hope this is Tahomy's game, or they're a part of it.... amazing storyteller.

What's wild about the story is it begs the question if what happened was as it seems... or if this was the Foundation, despite all it's efforts to insulate itself, succumbed to a cognito/memetic hazard that convinced them to act this way. Either way, it's quite ominous for the universe that received the data that made them aware of this reality where it happened.

The foundation lost the fight but the winner of the war is still unknown The entity could very well be stopped in the future and since pietros corpse landed in the resetted universe with every data from the suit, the foundation will now ofc attempt to find out what's going on, thus making the future of the tale unknown, but for now the entity unfortunately got away for first, giving the story a bad vibe, yes

@@robertkennedy4114 It seems like the true SCP 5000 might contain more than just pain and the negative issues of humanity, but also empathy. "... the second file, presumably containing the cure the Council and the Committee developed, resulted in those who received to fully commit themselves to the eradication of the human race. With this, the upper echelons and MTF units of the Foundation were freed of their humanity." This is supported by 3125, the "cure", reading as "by taking away their personality and humanity 3125 could free the human race from the Entity. " Which means that the SCP foundation are essentially killer AIs at this point. Honestly, from the sound of it all, 5000 may not be actively trying to bring about something catastrophic. By the perceptions of those freed from pain, it IS something catastrophic. Imagine coming down from a painkiller high to get all the sensations of pain - maybe, by default, we are already experiencing more pain than we know, we're just adapted to it. The SCP Foundation, having been "cured" of both that pain and empathy itself (thus, the ability to feel emotional pain, or care for anyone else), sees this as catastrophic, and since they don't care about what further suffering humanity will be made to endure (no empathy, remember?) they follow through with their goal to eradicate all other humans using SCPs.

The scp that hops screens is legitimately a really cool gameplay mechanic. Can’t wait for this game to get more finished. Maybe they’ll let you play as other groups of interest like the Serpent’s Hand, GOC, and others.

SCP-008 a.k.a The Zombie Plague is where the zombies are in S.C.P lore. I love the fact that your more calm and more conservative others who play this game no wonder you beat SCP Containment Breach. According to the UIU orientation, the Foundation usually uses the UIU to pick up or investigate low level anomalies that the Foundation doesn't care about. They serve as informants, assistants, and sometimes cannon fodder on the front lines. So basically the UIU is the Foundation's little brother. They aren't as big, smart, or strong, but they have the basics and can help a little if needed.

The concept of this game is so incredibly cool! Also there's seriously an alarming trend of people not putting flaslight at f anymore, and I hate it edit: just adding this as a thing before more people comment on it. I could literally care less about it being on a certain keybind, you can just feasibly change it. I was just being silly goofy ha-ha it is late at night. The devs did a solid job, glaslight does not change this lmao.

24:00 hearing that pig squeal of fright is something that'll never get old. I have had my eye on this game for a bit...problem is I can't really hear any of the monsters and their footsteps especially SCP 173 now. But ah well...the level designs are good and restricting reminds me of some old Killing Floor maps.; and the gun smith is a must have for any tactical game nowadays.

This game, without a doubt, is the coolest SCP to me in terms of Combat and Horror. I spent around 5-6 Hours total playing from start to finish in the "Raid Area 12" mode. I cannot wait for their next updates and I've been playing this game at least 2 times a week if not more.

The crazy thing is that this scenario is only found through a suit which they found one day in a scps containment chamber after a beam of light, and it had a corpse in it of a guy who was still alive and well in another site. The dude was there in the suit, experiencing the K-Class world ending scenario trying to figure out what happened. The suit could file what he was going through, it’s like it was in the future or something. Reminds me of terminator.

Reading the description of the SCP 5000, i can assume in "Theory" it's unique memetic effects being that if Anyone that was to analyzed it would then automatically activate it's effect causing all humans expose to the analyzed description to then become slowly homicidal in belief that SCP 5000 is will someday soon destroy humanity, this effect increases with more victims that become expose to the information till it reaches a collective mass to then cause the self destruction effect, which ironically it does destroy humanity by using humanity, primarily those expose upon first exposed to it's unique memetic effects. Just a theory though as really not much known on it's real effects only that it's related to humanity.

If you didn't know, SCP-5000 isn't actually the events or the discovery- the SCP is a machine called the Absolute Exclusion Harness. The story follows one foundation member operating the AEH throughout the destruction of the world, before he finally jumps into SCP-579, where he quickly dies. He is transported to our world in the containment of SCP-579, where the Harness is recovered and his logs are read. HIGHLY suggest reading it. It's like a whole f--king novel. It's wonderful, scary, and so- SO well done.

There are no “good guys” it’s all relative. GOC is reckless and can cause a ton of problems, UIU is way too weak to do anything, CI try to tell the world what’s going on, but also try to destroy it, and the SCPF controls all of the SCPs and keeps them locked up, but also can be incredibly dangerous (cough cough SCP-5000 cough) and can be ruthless and immoral

Coming from someone who loves the SCP universe and has studied lots, the SCP's that you encountered were The Clone Coffin Creatures (Maybe that's why they all looked alike or it's because of development in the future giving different variants or looks to every zombie), it could also just be zombie plague - 939 The doggies that mimic voices and stealthily kill, of course peanut the one and only and then at the end, it's probably not The Artificial Intelligence - so far the only SCP's that make you go insane through screen are The Coffin, Voodoo Putty, Painting or even The Doorman even though The Doorman's mechanic is that he stands near you and you'd feel immense fear and stress and he wouldn't be on a screen but it's still the presence or one look at him and you'd be scared - but my guess is it's probably The Coffin which in Containment Breach was the very SCP that had a camera on it all times but when you look at it too long you start to hallucinate.. So The Coffin or The Doorman probably - oh and The Surgeon Crabs SCP of course. and the Seed of Destruction which are the plants and biological tubes Just read the wiki and turns out that it's not the doorman, but The Projection which makes more sense now

@@grizzlymelon8376 Agreed. No way those are the Flesh That Hates. Especially since them even just touching your character would mean you're gonna just become them. If the devs have said it's that, I feel like they should probably reconsider, since there are plenty other entities that make FAR more sense, much as @official_wonnie mentioned. Edit: After taking a closer look, it's likely more of an unknown SCP for this universe of SCP-5000. It's some virus being developed called "Psi-Z", which is also what affects 939, causing a weird genetic alteration to their normal style. I can't even find anything online, either, about the devs saying it's 610. Just that the SCP-5000 entry explains one of the ways the Foundation was doing their job in that world is using Foundation personnel to distribute samples of 610 around populated areas. Nothing about the zombies in 5K being 610.

So, a littel fun fact about the first code of the game : 0451 is a very popular first code in most games that use codes to open doors, like the Bioshock games for example. If I remember correctly, it's a nod to the book Farhenheit 451. As to why so many games do it, I have no idea, but ever since I noticed that, my instinct is to always try it on the first door that has a code in a game, and it's more than often the correct answer.

SCP-5000 is my personal favorite SCP story in the whole circus SCP has become. such a well written and complete story, not just black squares all the way through the text like most SCP's.

Zombies in the SCP lore exist all over the place but most famously as SCP-008, which is just a zombie virus. There are other SCP's that can create zombies however, or undead in general.

Now if he can also accidently come up with the appropriate names to specify the other two variation of fleshlights, ya know the one with the lips and the other with the booty hole, then we'd be absolutely golden. Three thoughts regarding this idea 1. (in a fictional reality) I am not going to die until i get at least an hour with 999... 2. On that same note, i don't know how many good scp's there are, and how many of them are capable of doing anything to help; but it'd be cool to have a good scp pop up on rare occasions to help your character. Even if it's just 999 popping in once to heal you after a certain stage. 3. Depending on how quickly and what individual ways that humanity goes out.... 4999 may be about to get really busy.....
