Message to parents: If you want your child to grow up to be a good person, you must teach them consequences for wrongdoing when they are still young. Don't cover for their crimes, don't get upset with the teachers, when teachers try to discipline your child or expect more work done from them... If parents truly love their children, they will allow their children to face consequences. It's the only way children will learn and grow up to be good... Parents that think they need to protect them and hide them from consequences because they love them, are hurting them in the long run. PS: Great short film, I loved it. The letter really moved me. As a father of six who has never laid a scolding hand on any of them, please take this advice. Above all, you teach by EXAMPLE, not by use of ANY physical violence or threat of same. Just because your parents used these on you and think it did you no harm, does not make it so, because it most certainly did. Children need courage and confidence with which to face the challenges of this world, they gain neither of these by experiencing fear or intimidation especially from the very people that they should instinctively trust to act in their best interests. The greatest mistake parents make is being dangerously selfish psychopaths themselves while expecting their own children to become anything better. The good news is that sometimes they do, the bad news is that they very often don't. The very bad news is that some of them end up on death row after being caught murdering others. While the even worse news is that some of them never get caught as they ended up becoming politicians or some other kind of murderously corrupt gangster. You not only get the government, political class, legal system, and the job you deserve, you also get the children you deserve and so the future you deserve. God save the USA and the World. For let us face it, if it was left solely up to the inhabitants, absolutely none of us would have made it thus far. One other point. What do you lot think God thinks about a country that murders around 1 million of its own children every year before they get a chance to breathe their first breath? Life is either sacred or it is not. The Natural Laws of God don't play intellectual mind games or politically correct semantics.

Twenty minutes later he had been reprieved and some other punishment substituted; but the interval between the two sentences, twenty minutes, or at least a quarter of an hour, had been passed in the certainty that within a few minutes he must die. I was very anxious to hear him speak of his impressions during that dreadful time, and I several times inquired of him as to what he thought and felt. He remembered everything with the most accurate and extraordinary distinctness, and declared that he would never forget a single iota of the experience. ‘About twenty paces from the scaffold, where he had stood to hear the sentence, were three posts, fixed in the ground, to which to fasten the criminals (of whom there were several). The first three criminals were taken to the posts, dressed in long white tunics, with white caps drawn over their faces, so that they could not see the rifles pointed at them. Then a group of soldiers took their stand opposite to each post. My friend was the eighth on the list, and therefore he would have been among the third lot to go up. This video may look upsetting only because of his letter to his mum, but this man made the choice to do the crime and he can’t blame anyone else for his actions apart from him self. Guess quarantine got me here. I'm not a mom but damn the feelings to watch your son die are heartbreaking. Something you have to live with for the rest of your life. As a mom that probably full of regrets knowing that her parenting was not perfect got her son to lose his life for the crimes, he has committed. Parents out there show love to their kids and educate them no matter what you can do to help and support them. Even when time is hard still show your kid or kids that you are doing everything to help. The Death Penalty is harsh, yes but it's a lesson for human beings. Why act like a person being executed is a victim? If they killed someone, that person probably wanted to live. They took their life from them. They were the victim. A convicted killer is not a victim. He is a killer, and if he isn't stopped, he most likely will kill again. You can't just allow people to kill whomever they please. If they kill, then they aren't victims. The people they killed and their families are the victims.
