Actually, saying "yes" or "no" to her both leads to her slitting your mouth. The only way to survive when she asks you the question is to say "I'm busy" or just ignore her. I read this somewhere correct me if I'm wrong

according to legend, there are two ways to defeat Kuchisake-Onna. One of the ways is to throw candy at her, she has a sweet tooth and it will distract her. This will give you enough time to run. The other way is to tell her that her looks are average, while she's figuring out what to do, run away.

5:25 Not to be a nerd or anything Jay, But that painting is known for having a horrifying history. Legend says that the woman who painted the peice was extremely sad, some think this was carried into the picture. Therefore those who have owned that exact painting had felt seriously sad, depression and even killed themselves. I have a fond for horror and paranormal so there you go!!! :)

I really like this game. Cause not only did they accurately tell the urban legend since there are a lot of different versions of it but this one was the right one. Also I liked that the main character Akio would sing when he is scared. Kinda gave him more personality. The developers were funny with their facts at the loading points too. It was a nice game.

I actually expected the ending to have an "I don't know" ending because supposedly, from what i have heard, in the myth little kids actually came up with the solution after encountering her that if you tell her i don't know or some kind of neutral answer she would get confused. I saw from another comment in this comment section that the answer is "so-so" and while she is confused and ponders about it you have to run away before she ultimately decides to kill you. but other than that, as per usual loved the video and thank you for making such great content!

I still remember around 27 Dec 2021, 2 days after xmas I had a sleepover with my cousins. We had a tv with us with the mattresses on the ground. Some of them had already fallen asleep and some where just browsing thru their phones while me, my brother, my closest cousin and my niece were all up watching one of Jay's latest uploads. I remember hearing him telling us to "grab a hot cup of cocoa and just chill with him" (sorry if it isnt his exact words, I just remember the memory briefly). Just ending the year surrounded by my relatives watching my fav KZfaqr, laughing and having fun with them, at that moment I felt the most peace I had felt in a while. Jay, I hope you know how impactful your content has been for your viewers. For some of us, it isn't just a source of entertainment, but also one of the only things that can spark joy amongst our daily struggles. Thank you so much Jay ❤️

If you come across the Slit-Mouth Woman then you must answer with a "So-so" or "a little". A vague answer will confuse her and you will be able to run away. If you answer either "Yes" or "No" you will die and if you try to run without answering, then you will also die. Just fun folklore trivia here. Love the content Jay.

I remember the time when I was OBSESSED with Japanese and Korean Urban legends just to let you know I was like 7-9 at the time. My favorite was the Slit Mouth Woman, but I only watched gacha videos of her and the other legends, but one day I searched up "japanese urban legends" on scratch it might've not been that but it was on scratch, she came closer, and closer to me. Me freaking out but it's clearly JUST a game on scratch, I got jumpscared and I SAW what the real urban legend LOOKS like, I was too scared to use the bathroom alone or to shower for MONTHS
