Welcome to The Last Homely GARDEN! Ant is back from his holidays and ready to put the windows in the cabin! I also made a tweed curtain for the composting toilet. The inside of the cabin is my next focus, but for now I am celebrating being able to see out onto the pond!

Could it be that Eileen bit you because you haven't been spending much time with her? I remember when you'd take her to the dam quite often. Remember, she adopted you! Even though you've made her this lovely pond, instead of her old yard... she maybe missing your daily visits to her yard? 💖🌞🌵😷

I agree Suzi our dog Bruce only went away for a day for a Dental at the Vets but we were treated to the cold shoulder for another day when he came home.little terror! I think Suzi is right give her extra attention and then see how she is before you put her in a pen.hoping it all works out for you.Paulinexx

Watching you, is a visit back to my Great Aunt’s home & garden more than 60 years ago. She sewed, knitted, baked goodies, and created a small pond and a garden hideaway. She has been gone many years, and I’m pretty sure that I’m older than you, but still you give me a visit to a special time in my life. 💕

Kate, the cabin just gets better and better. Now, your next step is as you said (girls jobs, my tongue is firmly in my cheek as I say this) making curtains and cushions which will make it more comfortable for you. I’m sure as your grandchildren get older they will love it too. They might want to have sleepovers in the cabin. Cheers to Ant too, I’ve said before we all need someone like him. 🇦🇺

This was such a great one Kate. Ant and you get on so well together, because you are two truly kind souls. We all love Eileen, and she loves her pond, but beware the nips she can give! Just imagine all the wildlife that will come to your pond, and you can be all snug in your cabin, watching out without disturbing anything. I so enjoy seeing the friendship bloom between you and Ant - you really can 'feel the love' from here on the lime green sofa! What a talented pair you are! The mallards that are scoping out the pond must be he local queen and king - because they will have the best spot of all! You really are a National Treasure Kate! I have been in a grumpy, negative mood just lately. Watched this video and guess what? Grumpiness disappeared. Love it - if you want to encourage the mallard pair you could add some tall edgy vegetation to the far end of the pond away from the cabin and board walk, to give them a hidden place for the nest as it will give them a bit of safety while on the nest :)
